We requested service from Cole's Appliance Repair for our dishwasher. We waited a week for the technician to come out. During that week, we realized that our Samsung oven had also been acting up as well. Robert arrived promptly. He was friendly, professional and courteous. Robert was kind enough to check our oven while here. Since this was the third time we've had to have a technician service our Samsung dishwasher; Robert was honest enough to tell us he could temporarily repair the problem, but we may be better off replacing it - which we did - same with the stove. The price was fair and we were happy with the service and recommend Cole's Appliance Repair. We don't recommend Samsung appliances. :) read more

Had a oven tech board replaced and it was flawed from beginning instead of replacing it when I called the technician told me to try using the bottom oven and then reduce heat. Well it worked fine but not perfect until the board was no longer under warranty so $1400 dollars was total repairs and I still have to buy a new unit read more

Our gas range went out on Friday, we gave Cole's a call and not only did they have another range for us they installed the natural gas to propane kit for us and had it ready to go! We had a new oven at a GREAT price before noon on Saturday! This will be the first place we call from now on! Kathy was great at getting back to us about their stock and when we picked it up the owner helped get my husband loaded up and back on the road! They also took our old range and the whole process from pulling into the parking lot to getting out was 15 minutes tops! On a side note I just finished baking my first cake in the new oven and it came out perfect! read more

Had my LG serviced at Cole's. Compressor went out after five years. The compressor warranty covered the cost of the compressor but labor and parts ran $635. I had to take the monster in to Coles for the service. This meant removing the front door of the house and hiring strong help to manage this 300+ pound fridge into the truck. I was told it was fixed and picked it up. This required the strong help to return it to the house. Again, replace the front door. After water was hooked back up, the water dispenser worked but the ice maker doesn't work. Now, the ice cream is getting soft in the freezer. The refuse to come to my house to make it right after they charged me for the fridge to be repaired. If the do come out, they will charge me a $100 service charge along with travel time, bringing the total probable upwards of $900 to $1000 for the repair they should have done. The said they don't hook the fridge up to water so they didn't insure that was working. Please avoid this company and don't buy either Samsung or LG. read more

One start is GENEROUS. Terrible company, unprofessional technicians, even worse office staff. I am 8 months pregnant and asked for a diagnosis visit for two appliances that came with out new house. We were quoted $150 and then an extra $30 for the fuse on the dishwasher that had gone out. ( I would like to add that he wasn't even going to tell me price I had to ask for price). Then told me that fridge is not hooked up to water yet so no functioning ice component as of now. Technician mentions ice tray may have been removed to make space as it was not in use, then offers to get a quote for replacement as they do part ordering. NOT ONCE DID HE MENTION IT WOULD BE A $50 CHARGE JUST TO GET A QUOTE FOR SOMETHING I OBVIOUSLY DONT NEED. This company is sketchy and has no core morals or values to work off of as it's employees are all dirt bags. Thank you for taking money from a starting family you trashy-a$$ company. Side note: the customer service reps at the office can barely put to get her a professional sentence let alone explain why there's and extra $50 charge and then they refused to refund or change invoice so wasn't for my lack of trying. read more

Worst decision ever. I paid 600.00 to have my ice machine fixed . It still isn't working and they do not back their work . I paid 110.00 to have a diagnosis but I guess if their diagnosis Is wrong then you get stuck paying 600.00 and are left with an ice machine that still doesn't work. So wrong!!! Lesson learned and hopefully nobody else has to learn the hard way like I did. read more

We own an LG dishwasher and had the SUMP replaced through Cole's Appliances back in September. The parts and labor that we put into our dishwasher cost over $400, which is fine due to it obviously not being their fault of it breaking. Anyways, its now January, and the SUMP has went out again. When I called inquiring about any warranty on the parts for the dishwasher, I was told they would call me back to let me know of their policies (again not a big deal, the lady told me she was training, so I understood). When they didn't call back, I reached out again. When on the phone, I was informed of the warranty procedures, and was told that no matter what it would cost me money to get it reevaluated for them to request a warranty replacement from LG. This was a little confusing to me, so I began asking questions so I could have a better understanding. That is when the gentleman on the phone started talking strictly about my attitude. Saying I was yelling, which I was not, and I asked to speak to a manager or person in charge. At this point, they put me on speaker phone, the employees began to laugh at me vocally, and they REFUSED to put me through to a person in charge. This company then HUNG UP on me. When I called back, again they hung up on me. The third time, they put me on hold immediately, and the fourth time, finally someone answered, and they again REFUSED to get me in contact with the person in charge. This company is clearly not professional, nor do they care anything about customer service or customer satisfaction. I am beyond appalled, and will NEVER bring my business to them again. read more

This company had horrible service and lousy attitude. The technician came super late for pre scheduled appt that was confirmed from their office the previous day. Their tardiness made me late for work and Tim the owner snapped at me in front of some workers I had here. He offered zero apologies and threatened to leave if I didn't like it. Twice on separate occasions we have ordered parts for our washing machine and when going to pick them up they have no record of us calling and they do not have our parts. We tried to support local and now are forced to order off the internet. Never again. read more

Do yourself a favor and just buy a new washing machine. Cole's will charge you $110.00 to tell you they can fix it for $300.00 or $400.00 with no warranty after it's repaired. So, you'll end up with a working machine that cost $510.00 to repair with no warranty, or get a new washing machine for the same price with a warranty. Hmmm... read more

Horrible! Called about a dryer issue - guy barely looked at it. Told us that the dryer vent under the house was blocked and they won't go under the house to look. Vent wasn't blocked - it had already been checked! Called another company who came out, changed the element and now it's great! I'll never call Cole's again - what a joke! read more

My landlord is quite elderly and bought a $450 "refurbished" Admiral fridge from Cole's, to replace the old one that died in my rental. When he had it dropped off, and hooked up, neither the ice maker, nor the cold water would work. Also the three push buttons for water/ice were all partially cracked and broken around the edges. I pulled the water filter and it was completely impacted with rust and corrosion flakes. As it was still under a 30 day warranty, I called Cole's on behalf of my landlord, and spoke to a lady there that said "we don't check or replace filters on our fridges, and neither the filter, nor the ice maker is part of the warranty ". No explanation for the damaged buttons. But no big deal I guess, since they don't work anyway. I asked the lady what exactly they "refurbish" then, when they sell appliances, and she repeatedly gave me the runaround. I then spoke to my landlord who was upset and dejected that Cole's would treat him so badly, and that the warranty had been misrepresented to him. Given his advanced age, he said he'd rather not deal with them any further, and given their poor customer service, neither will I, or my family. When appliance purchases come up in conversation with people I know, I always share this story, and recommend that they go ANYWHERE other than Cole's. After all what good is a refurbished appliance that actually isn't refurbished? And what good is a warranty that doesn't actually cover the normal functions of the appliance? read more

In response to Alexis D. She was given the warranty information. Was NOT laughed at by personnel. She was asked to please quiet down for a minute and listen to what we were trying to tell her. Parts covered for 1 year against manufacture defect, labor is covered for 30 days. Mr. did bring the dishwasher in for repair, we found food and meat ground up in the pump. We did not charge the customer for the cleaning. Repair was not a warranty issue. Customer was only charged for the initial $29.50 diagnostic fee. It is very sad to see that this generation feels that slandering companies via sites like this, is the means to solving their issues...... read more

Seriously, I only give them 1-star because I can't give them zero. After Cole's third failed attempt, Warrantech sent Dan's Superior Service to my house. The technician, Rory was awesome! I could Immediately tell that he was a competent technician. Upon disassembling my dryer, he was able to determine the Cole's technician had lost 3 of my clips, had broken the mounting tab off of the brand new blower that he installed and forgot to plug in a sensor, which was causing it to shutdown and give me the error code. The difference in technicians and companies was night and day. Where Cole's customer service in the office and technician's ability so miserably failed, Dan's Superior Service excelled. I can't say enough good things about these Dan's....I would highly recommend them to anyone. read more

Just called coles and the lady was more than helpful! I was after the wrong part on my dryer and she pointed me in the right direction to figure out the part that is actually bad! I'm taking my dryer apart to find out which one of the parts is bad and will be going there to purchase the new part Monday. read more

Cole's took care of us from beginning to end. Something wasn't working right in our dryer and we were having to re-start clothes multiple times to complete drying loads. We called Cole's for help. From the beginning, the ladies at the front counter were kind enough to inform us that we could bring in the old one to have it checked. (This way, if the old part checked out as working correctly, we wouldn't get stuck with the new one.) The lady at the front counter informed me that no returns can be made on installed parts. Long story short, the part checked out as working properly, so we had one of the service gentleman come out and take a look at our dryer. The fella who came out was very friendly with my dog, which I very much appreciated. (Our dog is a small dog and can be quite protective of our family.) The fella working on the dryer even allowed my dog to come back and sniff him out while he was working. I was blown away by his understanding with my dog. After the work was all said and done, I spoke with the Office Manager. Once again, our expectations were met. Cole's really goes above and beyond to make sure you are happy with their work. I truly feel we were taken care of every step of the way. Thank you Cole's for the amazing work you do! We will definitely be a repeat customer. :) read more
