I had to resize my costume for comiccon. I thought it'd be impossible, but she did it!!! To give you ideas on what it was, it was a jumpsuit Hela costume, so you can imagine how thrilled I was that she could do it. Can you imagine trying on a costume(totally out of your comfort zone in a setting far far away from any convention) , wondering if this lady will laugh or say, "what the heck are you wearing?" she was very calm when getting it fitted and pinned. And she explained what the costume would look like after she fitted it. Even though she didn't communicate in English(she's more fluent in Korean), she drew it for me so I'd understand. If you have money to blow this is the place for you. First of all she has no signs up for prices its all arbitrary and she makes it up on the spot. Im not criticizing her quality of workmanship because she does do a good job. I came to her once before and the price felt a little steep but i had one piece and I was lazy to drive to my usual spot which is 11 miles farther. Today i went in with two dresses and one pair of shorts. She wanted to charge me $15 for each dress hem (they are the most simple summer dresses no crazy special hemming required) and that is more than I paid for the actual dresses. and $10 for basic spandex biker shorts. I have read other reviews that she charges $7 for a hem, she has never charged me this low, I honestly feel she only charges less if you are Asian, I'm latina and feel she ups the price for me. or maybe she is just over priced but i went to my usual spot in the Rio Ranch Mall on Garey in the city of Pomona there i was charged $18 for all 3 pieces instead of paying $40 here & i know i will get the same quality work of work done. read more

I needed to have my daughter's dress altered and a girlfriend recommended me to head over to this place. It was a Friday afternoon when I went in and I needed the dress done that same afternoon. My daughter needed her dress altered for a quincenera the next day at 11am. Luckily, rather then hem, the lady who helped me recommended to take it up from the straps. In less than a half hour, the dress fit perfectly on my daughter. This was an easy fix and I was happy she accommodated me so quickly. She was so busy that day when she showed me a rack of dresses that also needed to be altered. She was very understanding and extremely helpful. Paid in cash. read more

This is now my go-to-place for alterations, thank you fellow yelpers. I used to have my cleaners hem my pants but now it's going to be Mrs Kim. I took a blazer to be shortened at the arms length, $20 because of lining. Shortened pants, $8. Reasonable prices and clothes were ready in 2 days. I'm sure she could have it ready sooner but I wasn't in need right away and didn't want her to rush. read more

Went in to get the band of one of my new bras tighten and she did a fabulous job! Couldn't even tell she altered it, very professional looking. At first she cut off about an inch but it was still a bit too loose for my likings so she went ahead and took off another inch for me and now it fits pretty good. I went to this place a month ago after reading the yelp reviews. The shop was a bit difficult to find but I found it eventually. This lady was very sweet and patient. This place only does alteration so the turnaround time is usually same day. I needed to hem my dress pants and the owner charges $8.00 which is quite reasonable compared to dry cleaners around the area. I waited in line but the owner immediately greeted me as soon as I walked in the door. She was very nice and courteous. Great business! read more

This was my first time getting anything hemmed so i was a little skeptical about it first. I had a little trouble finding where this Alteration shop was until i found out it was next to the barbershop. Anyways, as soon as i walked in, this nice Korean lady greeted me and provided great customer service! I brought in 3 pairs of chinos 2 days ago that were a size 34 on the waist and leg length. Usually i wear a size 32 so i told her how i wanted the pants to look like. She has dressing rooms available and asks me to put on the pants to see how loose and baggy it looked on my and started to mark and pin what she was going to cut and fix. I did feel a little bad because she had signs saying from the 18 till next month she'd be gone. I had asked why was she going to close for soo long and she responded by saying she was going to Korea. Hearing that she had a look of annoyance on her face and i said it would be ok for me to wait for her, but she insisted on fixing my pants. After i got a call from her and came back to her shop she had me try on the pants and they fit and looked exactly what i wanted it to be. I am always gonna come to her shop.
