Arrived at 4:30pm-10:45pm, over 6 hours from the beginning to end. Yes is was fairly busy but I didn't think all that busy. Secondly, the restroom and the examination room were dirty, I mean gross. The underside of the toilet seat needed cleaned and the floor needed mopped. Worst of all, after the waiting and getting to the exam room, there was what we thought was fecal matter on the control panel of the bed. I cleaned the matter up using rubber gloves and wipes that were on the exam room. I am so happy I have different and better health ins.

Days to resolve a broken toe…read more My husband fell down the stairs in our home with our toddler. This happened on a Sunday. I was pretty sure he broke it, but he decided to wait until Monday morning to call the doctor to schedule an appointment. Monday morning rolls around and he makes the call at 8am. Dr. Goswami, not his usual general practitioner, saw him that same day. Great! She orders him to get an Xray done. After the Xray, we wait for her assistant to give us the results that it was, in fact, a broken toe at the joint area. My husband has been in a lot of pain hobbling around, so it was nice to hear that we would get this resolved immediately. We were told he would get a call from a referred orthopedic and someone would drop off a boot at our home for him to wear (at 10am Tuesday). Tuesday rolls around. We've been waiting the rest of the day Monday and Tuesday morning to get a call from this orthopedic. No call. My husband calls in to check up on the status and the assistant tells us that Dr. Goswami called in to the wrong referred orthopedic. The orthopedic was for a broken knee/hip when my husband needs one for his foot. So, essentially we could've waited forever if we didn't call in because it was the wrong doctor. My husband ended up spending 2 hours out of his work day to find the right orthopedic to call covered under our health insurance. 2 hours. That's 2 hours of figuring out who to talk to, talking on the phone, and then leaving a voicemail with that orthopedic. Meanwhile, at 10am, the lady comes to our home and has two types of prescribed boots/shoes. BOTH are wrong. They're for a broken ankle. One shoe my husband tried on has his toes exposed! So much for this immediate service. We're at the step of now going to the correct orthopedic on Wednesday morning and approaching day 3 of his injury/healing process. When someone has a fracture, it shouldn't take days to resolve. We're hoping the doctor doesn't have to re-break his toe to set it correctly on the 3rd day. We find it difficult to trust our bodies with medical professionals when they cannot provide an expedient, accurate service.

After receiving amazing and easy medical care in California I moved back to Oregon for particular…read morereasons. I have a very complex medical condition that requires careful ongoing specialized care so finding good doctors and specialists is important. Initially I setup insurance through the Providence network because their facilities were close to the area I live in, big mistake! After receiving extremely subpar care in most modalities with outrageously long scheduling times and a terrible PCP (Dr. Kakodkar was just awful) I decided to make the insurance switch. Best decision ever, giving me hope in what was looking like a very bleak future trying to work with Providence. Having a more open insurance plan that allows access to all the networks is the way to go, then you get Legacy, OHSU, even Providence and more. Through some family referrals I ended up here with Dr. Cara Lutze. Finding a good PCP shouldn't be a difficult challenge, Dr. Lutze is surely a gem to find. A genuinely good PCP can make all the difference when it comes to ongoing care. Upon first consult she actually took the time to go over my medical needs and worked with me for all of my referral and prescription needs without hesitation. She was kind, polite, progressive, attentive and responsive from start to finish. Definitely a positive night and day comparative upgrade from my former PCP. The office has plenty of easy complimentary parking. My wait time after checkin was about 5 minutes with her assistant Bri. Wait time to see the doctor was no more than five minutes. The facility is clean and doesn't have any weird smells. I've been to places that often make you wait 30-45 minutes or longer with every step, not here. I look forward to working with the doctor and Legacy Medical Group moving forward. Such a better choice and experience all the way around.

The weird part is that I was contacted through my patient portal notifying me to schedule an appt w/ my doctor immediately. I already had a scheduled appt months in advance but I was told to schedule a sooner one. When I called I was told that there were no sooner appts even though I was in a health crisis and needed my General Practitioner. Judy said I had no appt scheduled at all- which wasn't true. She finally admitted that she " accidentally" cancelled my appt that I had made months ago as there is a months long wait to see a doctor and I am in a health crisis. At first she wouldn't give me my appt back- she gave me a very unnecessary run around. There were so many strange things she said/did. It was exhausting and felt such panic as I was told I needed to schedule an appt right away. Judy & other staff members have intercepted & cancelled my appointments TWICE. Her behavior was very odd and it stressed me out greatly. I am on hold hoping to speak with a supervisor but so far my experience with this medical group has been ABUSIVE AND HORRID. I am scared and do not know what to do. When one is experiencing a health crisis, the last thing you need is STRESS. PS: Judy kept me on hold for more than 5 minutes and I ended up hanging up.
