Free Comic Book Day today. You get 3 issues. Get em before they're gone.
    James I.

I stopped by COC today to partake in Free Comic Book Day 2018. When the store opened, we were greeted by some storm trooper and Cowboy cosplayers. The free comics were in a center table and the employees were helpful in answering people's questions. Despite the mild chaos, I was able to get in and out within 15 minutes. The store is clean and has all the newest issues along a wall with many shelves for Trades. The shelves correspond to the publisher - the DC shelf is in front of the DC single issues, then Indie, then Marvel towards the rear of the store. They have action figures, statues tumblers, collectible card merchandise, and random knickknacks for sale near the cashier. They have a rewards/stamp card where if you spend $10 (before tax) you get a stamp. 10 stamps gets you 10 dollars off anything in the store, which is nice. IMO,its one of the few "rewards" that is actually attainable without breaking the bank.I recently used my card from 2014 to buy a trade last month and they still honored it. The only real negative is that it may not be worth buying a lot of trades , since Amazon or other online comic specialties usually have big discounts on trades. But for getting individual issues and the occasional trade, its a great choice especially since the new tampa/USF area is sparse when it comes to comic stores.

Great store to nerd out. I go mostly to play Pokémon TCG, they have a very active league there, inviting to new players looking to learn.

Great for comics, cards, collectibles, and collectible protection cases. Makes me think of a library for comics. Everyone whispers here

Big store with tons of selections…read more I was nervous from pictures that this would be all comic books. I was a little relieved when we pulled up and there was a sign that included toys. We were here on a very specific mission, one son was looking for ghostbusters toys and the other was looking for pokemon cards. One of the employees told us that they get the most calls from people looking for pokemon cards. So I don't bury the lead, they don't have just packs of pokemon cards, but they do have a set that includes multiple packs for $60. We ended up getting that for my older son and I've been giving him a pack every couple of days. I was little nervous about our mission to find ghostbuster stuff. There were tons of star wars stuff and a lot of funko figurines. We did find ghostbuster funko figures, but that wasn't really what we were looking for. Eventually after walking around a bit, we did find three small ghostbuster items. I think they're meant to be kept on a desk, but my son has been playing with them like they're toys. I haven't seen ghostbusters so I'm not going to describe this well, but they are items to track and then trap ghosts. He was ecstatic that we found them, so mission accomplished. If you're looking for comic books then this is heaven. If you're looking for specific toys, it may be hit or miss, but for us it was a hit. This is definitely a place worth checking out.

This place is located in the perimeters of Orlando, Florida in a small shopping center next to the…read morerestaurant. It's nice and Qwaint and sits in a hidden area behind later places. But upon arrival, I can tell that it was a pretty laid-back please. The desk clerk was very knowledgeable about the games and their history, as well as some nostalgic items that were available. They also have lots of Funko pops if you're into that type of thing. I even like the way they use the ticket gun to price various items in the store. It reminded me of the old school candy store with the little stickers label posted on it. The items look well cared for and wrapped very thoroughly and methodically. I believe lots of the items are fairly priced and not overwhelmingly expensive. I was most impressed with the miniature video game console that sat at the front counter that pre-dated the Atari. What surprise me most about this location is that they had a actual arcade in the back with various games from the 80s like contra, galaxa, pong, Qbert, dig, dug, streetfighter, or Pac-Man, and they even had a racing game. Even though it was not a very, very large arcade, It really did bring back quite a bit of memories.

I recommend this shop for anyone that wants a trustworthy purchase, great customer service, and guaranteed quality. The prices aren't that bad if you know what you're looking for
