Our company rented from this business and had the absolute worst experience possible. We are based…read morein Michigan but were opening a branch in a different state, and found the rentals we were looking for at A-1 Amusement, which was located about 1.5 hours from the event location. We discussed with their event specialist WEEKS prior to the event that we weren't from the area and confirmed if it would be an issue to drop the rentals back off a few minutes late if needed since we would be traveling to return them from 1.5 hours away. The event specialist confirmed it would be "no problem" and to just give them a call the day we were returning them. We called when we left the event location to let them know that GPS was showing we'd arrive at 4:40pm (they close at 5pm). The lady said okay, no problem. We ended up hitting some traffic, and GPS adjusted itself to say 5:05pm. We called back just to keep them in the loop that we'd be 5 minutes late. The lady again said, no problem. Ten minutes later she called back and flipped a switch. Saying that "Doors close at 5pm, so if you're not here by 5pm, you have to wait until tomorrow." We reminded her we were from out of town, and it was just five minutes, and that we were told before we rented from them that they would have some flexibility. She proceeded to say their staff "has lives" and they've had a busy week and she discussed it with the owner and that nobody will be there at 5:05pm. We explained we had children at home, home is 4 hours away, it would be a huge ordeal to not be able to drop off FIVE MINUTES LATE. She actually laughed at that point. We asked if we could leave them in the parking lot in the back, she said they would charge us full price for every rented item. I have no words for the appalling and disgusting display of customer service this company exhibited (the "higher standard of customer service" they advertise is a complete joke). The way we were spoken to, the way they went against their word they originally gave us, and the way they handled the situation is outrageous and beyond unacceptable. Every person should think twice about renting from a company that will laugh at you when you express concerns. All over a mere five minute delay. Unbelievable.

We weren't looking for anything but when they heard about our issues with our salon ( Our Stylist moved 5 days before our wedding and we did not like the replacements) they really went above and beyond to help us find a solution. They coordinated arrangements with EyeDo and it was perfect. They were so nice and helpful that I would recommend checking out their services.

The staff were responsive via email and phone when we had questions and the on call staff day of was helpful with cleanup instructions and placement of items. We just rented the space which comes with tablecloths for the seating tables and food tables but they have add ons such as decor and silverware you can pay extra for. I loved the flow of the space, we were able to have the food in a separate room from the guest seating and a nice entry space for pictures and gifts. We comfortably fit 40 people. I wouldn't try to squeeze more than 50 in there depending on your set up. They also have beautiful chandeliers throughout the place and we loved that we could bring in our own food and drinks and decor. There were some slight issues with connecting to Bluetooth I think it gets tricky if you have an Apple Watch but we were eventually able to figure it out. They also have a tv with hdmi hook up (you have to bring your own cord) where we were able to display a slideshow. I would highly recommend for baby shower, bridal shower, proposal venue, etc. it's a pretty white blank slate so the decor options are endless. They also provided an easel and coat rack and a few bar top tables that came in handy for gifts.

After checking them out online, I sent a quick email asking for more info. The owners replied immediately and were so helpful! We did a walkthrough of the space and fell in love. We did rent all the rooms and the price was very reasonable. My party had karaoke set up in the green room and a photo booth in the white room with the fireplace. My guests loved how much space we had while still feeling connected. The owners were beyond helpful throughout the entire experience before party, during and after. I would definitely recommend this venue for many events, big and small.

Things were always changing. Jeff took my ideas as they evolved and created diagrams that brought them to life. When the plan changed, he rolled with it and kept a positive attitude. He pointed out things I wouldn't think about not being in the business and never ever pushed me to purchase more. He even gave me alternatives to save money. He was extremely responsive to e-mail and phone calls. There were no hidden costs. He made it super easy! They were on time and the crew was so respectful and kind. Exactly the kind of people you want to talk to when you're carrying the stress of last-minute wedding prep. The day before my wedding there was a huge storm. Not only did the tent handle it without an issue, everything inside the tent stayed dry. Their tent, tables and chairs were great quality and shape. The entry way is spacious and has a security guard up front for the entire night. There was a beautiful staircase but also elevators for our guests with mobility issues. There were bathrooms both upstairs and downstairs as well. The venue itself is so beautiful we really needed minimal décor for it. There are awesome lights, barrels that were used as tables, and so much character to the space. Our bar package was through them as well. We hesitated when we saw the beer list (no IPS, craft, or seltzer options), but it ended up being perfect. Their open bar high-end option had plenty of other choices of liquor and wine our guests could also choose from and had a great time. The team did a great job - they set up all of the tables and chairs exactly like we wanted, did a great job running the bar, and gave us exactly what we needed. They were very kind and flexible with us as we asked questions throughout the process. Would highly recommend getting married here!
