Mrs. Carol was referred to me for floral arrangements for my mom's memorial service. From our initial consultation via phone and in-person she knew that I was overwhelmed and had no clue what I was doing or needed do. During our meeting Ms. Carol help me organize a list of to-dos for my mom's memorial service. So when I left the shop not only could I breathe a little easier but was reassured that I would honor my mom properly.. Not only did they provide floral arrangements for the memorial service but also provided decor for the tables both at the service and repast. Also, Carol personally came to the church early and set-up everything. Everyone raved how beautiful the front of the church looked with the table arrangements (candles, table cloth, lace overlay, easel, vases with roses all provided by Ms. Carol). I was able to honor my mother and provide her a beautiful memorial service all because of Ms. Carol. I'm forever grateful for the extra time she took with me to help me organize my mom's service at no charge. If you looking for a great florist, with a human touch, a king and loving spirit, Mrs. Carol is the person. Thank you Mrs. Carol for making a difficult time as pleasant as possible.

Then of course the pandemic happened and is currently still disturbing "normal" for everyone. My venue cancelled my wedding because of the Cov-ID 19, and the governor putting into action no groups of more than 10 allowed. My wedding was scheduled for May 9, 2020. My wedding was officially cancelled March 16 at 7pm and I called all of my vendors and let them know the next day that obviously because of the pandemic there will be no wedding. When I called Ms. Debbie to let her know, she was surprised because the wedding was still two months out and said she had to talk to her partner to let me know about a refund. Fast forward to today, she never got back to me and I had to reach out to her to ask what was going on with my refund? She responded telling me that there will be no refund because we cancelled the wedding. We didn't cancel the wedding the venue did so we are definitely entitled to our money back. Secondly, super unprofessional and insensitive for me to have to reach out to you instead of giving me a call to understand the "policy" that was set forth which I didn't get by the way. Because of this I would not recommend. You can't be an honest and a sincere individual or company when you do business the way we have been treated so quickly.

She assured me that I was in good hands. Delivery is scheduled for tomorrow so I have my prayers up that all will go well. This was a super important delivery due to the sensitive nature of who was getting the flowers. This is my follow up to share what happened after my order was placed. The order was delivered on time and a confirmation was emailed to me letting me know. When you aren't local to an area you truly are at a disadvantage when it comes to trusting that the service you see online is going to be the reality of what you receive. The flowers were beautiful. The picture from what I am told doesn't do the arrangement justice. The key here is that Diane's word was true, she took care of me and I'm truly happy I found you via YELP! I would use your service again and recommend you. Thank you Diane and The Jone's Florist Shop for providing quality, and professionalism during my time of need.

There is no shame in this acquisition because American Greetings is the second largest greeting card producer behind Hallmark cards. Gibson incorporated in 1895 as "The Gibson Art Company." As Marianne W. noted, Gibson produced gift wraps, gift bags, boxed cards, calendars, gift tags, stickers, party goods, collectibles, drinkware, and additional related items. Gibson was credited with popularizing the "French Fold" card which is one sheet of paper folded in half twice and later became the best selling greeting card format and an industry standard. Gibson was also innovative in producing electronic greeting cards and creating "stores within stores" for example, Wal-Mart greeting card departments which sold Gibson Greeting cards and other products. The Gibson slogan was "In a fast paced word, slow down, take the time, give thanks, and make someone's day!" If you are in need of a vintage Gibson product, check eBay or Etsy.

Somehow my family must have felt the need to let a company provide the words for their sentiments. Must have been their lack of a formal education. In my case it's my lack of interest in being grammatically correct. And let's not forget about my lack of awareness regarding punctuation! In the case of Gibson Greetings I have a place in my heart for their presence in and around Kentucky. Many fellow Kentuckians worked in their factories when I resided in Kentucky. This is another historic company that started with immigrant family ownership. (See below for a brief history) in my eyes a Gibson Greeting Card has a style of its own. I'm not sure if I can put it into words so I won't. I've been buying this brand for years. History: Gibson Greetings, Inc. is the nation's third largest greeting card manufacturer, ranking just behind Hallmark Cards, Inc. and American Greetings Corporation. In addition to greeting cards, Gibson also produces gift wraps and bags, boxed cards, calendars, party goods, and related items. Gibson is headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio. The company also has subsidiaries in Mexico and the United Kingdom. Gibson Greeting's history can be traced to 1850, when George Gibson and his family emigrated to the United States from Scotland, where Gibson had operated a lithographic and copperplate engraving business. The family journeyed to the "land of opportunity" with a small French-made lithography press.
