There's been a couple of location changes in the years but, currently resides directly behind Cici's Pizza on Southwest Parkway. Today it's known only as Galaxy Comics. Very clean. Very well organized. This an excellent place to fulfill all your Comic Book and Gaming needs. If they don't have it, I'm pretty sure they can order it for you. The current owner has well over 20 years experience in this business, and about 40 years as a collector. This is the longest running Comic Shop in Wichita Falls. Surrounded by nice people into the same hobbies as me, hearing people talk about awesome cards they pulled, deals being made, just the flip of a binder page makes me feel like I'm wanted there. I love Carolina Comics and the people who run it and I even got my dad to come I to the store every now and then. Oh and the pricing on single cards are pretty fair. They have a great Starbucks that makes the…read moredrinks actually taste good, the fitting rooms have a large one for nursing moms that has a large chair with a side table that has a phone charger station , the bathrooms are clean, great selection of stuff, and the best part is the people that work here actually care about their quality of service. I was trying to meet a few particular things on my app to get a discount and they really went above and beyond to take on my complicated situation and they did not stop until we accomplished my goals. Normally our Target trips leave us feeling happy and well worth whatever we spend - but the employees here tonight were VERY quick to project whatever unfortunate things they must be going through onto other people. I can understand that it's Friday night and people want to get home from work as soon as possible, but to blatantly badmouth customers to your co-workers in front of their faces and be just plain rude is unacceptable. My family & I are from out of state. After a hectic day, we made a last minute trip to Target to pick up some essentials we needed. We were moving as fast as possible but got stuck when it came to searching for a sunblock (we only purchase sunblocks that are not harmful to the coral reefs) so it took an extra second. I turned to tell my boyfriend that one of the employees was eyeing us and that we really needed to hurry (in an attempt to be as considerate as possible) and the woman immediately began badmouthing us on her walkie-talkie RIGHT IN FRONT OF US. As if this wasn't bad enough, at checkout my sister-in-law swiped her target discount card for me just as a kindness, and when my payment wouldn't process, one of the employees stepped in and YELLED at me about how "using that discount doesn't work without a target red card" and rolled her eyes at us. I mean, geez... I'm sorry that I wasn't aware. I'm sorry that your day was so terrible you couldn't take 2 seconds to ask us if we needed help rather than immediately choose to be nasty. I would say do better, but honestly - learn how to be human. Being petty & mean is uncalled for. You never know what people could be going through. I would also like to say that by the time we got to the car, it was 11:06..... They closed at 11. If a 6 minute delay is enough to make you treat people maliciously, you need some real soul-searching. I hope you learn to treat people with respect.
