I am from the West Coast and am pretty particular about seafood as a whole. I've gone into local restaurants and was like ohhhhhh I can taste that this shrimp was frozen. Ohhhh kay... I picked up the Big Wave Poke Bowl because I have seen Asian people working behind the counter and that gave me comfort. This Poke Bowl was delicious!! The fish tasted fresh. I was so happy!! We normally love shopping here, but recently they did 3 things that are quite irritating…read more 1. Recently they've been changing up the ReadyMeals in many ways. Firstly they removed the tortillas from the taco kit, eventually replacing the kit with a "bowl" with most of the same ingredients, but seemingly less chicken and no tortillas. A very problematic change they've made to seemingly ALL of their ReadyMeals is removing cooking/heating instructions. Not only does that seem like a hazard, but it certainly makes it quite the challenge when trying to cook a pizza in the oven. Does it need 350 or 400°? Does it need 8, 10, 15, 20, or 25 minutes to properly cook? These factors vary by each type of pizza. Is the fraction of a cent saved on printer ink on the label worth the customer dissatisfaction? I would think not. 2. They removed all the wall art of the history of Wichita Falls, which had previously made the store feel more "local" and less "uninspired corporate cookie cutter location." 3. They moved the Dublin sodas (a local to Texas brand) to 4 different places around the store and have slowly been phasing them out. Of course, starting with our favorite 1891 Founder's Recipe Cola, followed by our second favorite the Cherry Limeade. We used to buy 6-12 bottles every 1-2 weeks. Normally I could see this being an issue with a lack of demand, but they were constantly sold out of those 2 flavors. I don't expect the 2nd change to be addressed, but it would be nice if the 1st and 3rd would be addressed. Regardless, staff is always friendly and helpful.

Located across the street from an old Coca Cola bottling company distribution, Alley Cat is a HUGE warehouse, 3 stories of reasonably priced vintage treasures (ranging from home decor to vintage toys) to uncover and little pockets to explore. My little secret (outside of WF). They would literally know me by name if I lived here as I would 100% be a regular haha. One of my favorite set of vintage mugs was purchased here along with a few records and some vintage 90s basketball memorabilia for my husband. I wish they had selections of vintage fashion magazines. The staff is always friendly and chill. Street parking is easy. Prices are reasonably great (unlike Austin smh). Driver said they could deliver the following week, then he called and said he broke down so another driver would call about delivery the next week. The next call came from Terri (caller ID said Morgan) asking me if I had the concrete blocks in place. Found an email from both Derkson and the financier asking for payment on the first (just a matter of days) and a signature that appears to be the same as the form signed in office purchase but includes the following: The condition of the building has been inspected. Lessor has the right to enter your property at any time to inspect the building. And includes a provision if they should take the building and personal property has not been removed from the building, it will not be returned. I then received a call asking me to get cement blocks for set up. According to advertisement, set-up is included. I made it clear I would not be signing any further paperwork until the building arrives and if promised services aren't rendered, then they could keep the building. Carl then called asking my wife to tell me we had to sign the paperwork BEFORE the building is delivered. furthermore, it was explained the size is calculated from outer wall to outer wall, yet the form states the size is from eave to eave. Yeah, sure, I'll get right on that signature without inspection with a due date for first payment before the building even arrives and a late payment fee of $300. You'd be better off just saving the cash you'd pay each month and buying a building outright from somewhere else. Needless to say, I am cancelling the order and expect full refund of deposit.
