These guys really know how to give great haircuts! Too bad they never open on time, and wait times are always out the door.

This is the third barber I give five stars in the past ten years or so. First of, the barbershop is…read morereally cool, and they were playing good music. I saw kids, and college students getting haircuts from the two barbers, both of whom were very nice. I was happy with my haircut, and the barber used a razor to finish fixing it, which to me is the difference between a good cut, and some rando haircut place. She also asked me whether I wanted to trim or blend my hair, which is exactly the right kind of question, because I never know what I want and I have to be nudged in the right direction. I like the I could use a credit card to pay, and to leave a tip. My only suggestion would be for the barbers to use warm foam. Also New Brunswick is a pain to park in, so give yourself time to get there.

Writing a review after a long time doesn't come handy when you cannot remember the barber's name…read more I recently had a hair cut here going by the reviews and did a walk-in without booking an appointment. The place looked like a barber shop in the middle of a nice game room. The barber (sorry couldn't recall his name) asked the requirements and quickly jumped to work. He did a pretty clean job but I had a complete turn off when he assumed that I wouldn't need long sideburns and decided to chop it off short. I immediately told him that I usually sport long sideburns and he must have checked with me before proceeding. I was equally surprised that it cost $35 for a simple haircut. Anyway the place had good aesthetics and ambience and it would definitely cost that much if you are also making use of their pool table or the PlayStation. I also found the music little too loud as both of us found it difficult to hear each other.

Posting pictures of I can so everyone can see what I'm talking about and that I'm not being overly harsh. Worst experience ever. And I got charged anyway. I'm dumb for paying. Shouldn't have paid a dime but that's my fault. Avoid this place if you can. Not worth it. I usually get cheaper and much better cuts elsewhere.

There were 2 barbers working initially and then a 3rd strolled in some time later. His name was Brian and he was who cut my hubby's hair. When he got in the seat he showed Brian a picture of the look he was going for although he let him know he didn't want such an intense of a hard part as the one in the picture. Brian said not to worry and took his time perfecting his look. He did not disappoint. He came out looking marvelous as always ;) Even shaped him up with a straight blade to finish the look. Scissor hands has an interesting vibe as there was hip hop blasting and all three of the barbers were in great spirits and took their time on each of their customers. The location is great as its conveniently located on George street. Prices were reasonable and both my man and I were very happy with the result of his haircut. Would definitely recommend coming here and asking for Brian.

First things first: my hair looks great. I got a single process color, cut and blowout. The shade…read moreof red I got is beautiful, but they did NOT need to bleach my roots (which added hours and money to the process). I've achieved much brighter reds at home with dye and developer. The price was outrageous. For the services I got done, I usually pay $190 at my usual salon. I paid $350!!! And that did not include the tip. This was my most expensive trip to the salon -- ever. There was a dog in the salon the entire time, and I had dye all over my neck, my ears and my forehead when I got out. I'm no stranger to getting my hair dyed (I usually keep it red) but the amount of dye I had on my skin just reflected the lack of attention to detail. For the price point, I would've expected more. More everything: attention to detail, professionalism and a better ambiance. Won't be returning. If you want to spend an exorbitant amount of money on a mediocre haircut and dye job, go ahead. I wouldn't recommend this place to students in the area however. If you're looking for a balayage or highlights, you might have a better experience than I did (most of the pictures on their site are of those kinds of dye). My hair might be on the website now, I remember some pictures being taken of my hair... I won't deny that it looks great, but my wallet was left hurting despite the fact that I had a mediocre experience and a tough time getting dye off my skin for the next week.
