I went through a life altering event in my life and they were supportive. Latest drop off is at 930am unless you let them know ahead of time. They stop serving breakfast at 830 as well. They are friendly and I enjoy their parent-kid interactions -pie day, graduation day, tea party. It is on the pricey side. For preschooler-age, it's over $1600/mo. Sometimes it can be short staffed and they'll let you know if you need to pick up your kid earlier. They have an app and you can see what they're doing. Sometimes I get photos in the app where my kid isn't in the picture. When they are busy, sometimes I don't get any pictures which is understandable. I want them to focus on what's really important. Also the app lets parents send email and communicate to the director and teachers. I was disappointed that I wasn't able to get a conference in the school year. They were so busy with the end of year party that I had to make sure that I had everything packed before leaving. I liked that the teachers use white boards/paper. Let's do one better and have the kids take turns going up and presenting. I think they already do that for days of the week, etc. Overall, decent place. Daycare isn't easy and they try hard to improve their image. I know they have had rough reviews but not sure how truthful they are. Ms. Cynthia is great! She's so sweet and friendly and patient when I'm late picking up my little one. Also, Ms. Maria too! She may not bubbly but she teaches stuff and now my kid knows Spanish because of her.

AND HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE THERE NOT TO MENTION SHE WAS ONLY THERE FOR 2 DAYS! *DAY THAT HAPPENED* Around the month of january i enrolled my daughter into this daycare. Thinking it was a good fit since it was 5 minutes away from my house and i worked from 530am till 230pm in tukwila. They took her in around 440am. I took her to the in home daycare and dropped her off with a much older lady who i believe is the mother of the one who runs the big daycare on james street. Because she mentioned to me that is her mother. All of my paper work was right next to the signing in and out binder. I remember clearly having my daughter with all her hair up as a bun before i dropped her off to this lady. And ofcourse its her second day of daycare and she cryed for me. So i laid her on those kids fold beds they have in the rooms. And the lady told me to go because my daughter started crying. So i signed out and left. This time it was just them two in the home i believe!. So after work i came to pick her up around 245 pm and by this time 2 younger ladys where working there. The older lady was gone. So they gave me my daughter all ready with her backpack. Her hair in a bun BUT with her bangs down. I always put all her hair up because they were kinda long and needed some trimming.Anyways, No shoes so i had to carry her to the car. And when i got home my mother came a little after and gave her a kiss on the forehead which she lifted her bangs and saw a dry cut from that same day and we noticed on the same side of that cut she was limping while she walked.! She had a small bruise on her side and i just couldn't believe it! I felt as if someone hurt my child in that daycare ! I called the daycare and the daughter answered saying she doesnt know anything and she was going to call her mother and ask her about it. And she was going to give me a call back. They didnt! I took her to the hospital the same day and got her checked and x-rayed on her limping leg! The doctors heard my daughter saying "owee" because her leg hurted wen u touched it. THANK GOD SHE WAS OKAY.the next day i had called the lady again and i told her i was gunna go speak with her mother personally about my daughter. So she told me to go ahead. So as soon as i was parking my car, the daughter called me again and said something did happen. That my daughter had fallen off the bed beacuse she threw herself back when she was crying for me and her mom had forgotten to leave the "incident report"(Which till this day i have not seen) with the other 2 ladys that where there after. So i just started crying and just went to make a police report. I was not gunna take a fake written incident report that might of been done on my way there!. I did what in my heart was right!. They have NO cameras ! It was in investigation and i receieved a phone call about a month later from a lady asking about my daughters incident because she was investigating it as well and she asked me if i ever seen or recieved and incident report. So i told her no because i never have seen a incident report nor ever seen how one looks like! She said it was kinda weird because the police didn't receive one as well.! *Weird* I am just very FURIOUS! About this! Nothing has been done! I love the unique setup with the 1/2 walls and open floor plan. the children often play in a Montessori type style. My children, ages 10 months and 4 years, absolutely thrive at KinderCare. Even my little one, who was initially hesitant to drink his bottle, has been showered with love and attention by the infant staff - and he's now much more comfortable meeting new people. What truly warms my heart is how understanding and accommodating the staff is of our family's beliefs and dietary restrictions. The kitchen staff went above and beyond to ensure that our children are well-fed and cared for, and that means the world to us. That being said I've experienced south kindercare (which we loved from their care to their staff was phenomenal). Normandy Park - also great staff. Auburn kindercare which was also great. They have such a great curriculum. Which played such a huge role in me returning my children to Kindercare's. However, I must express my disappointment. We have been attending just over a month and between billing and a few other mishaps I must say my experiences have changed. I want to start with the biggest issue I've had (BILLING) , and I don't like putting my business out in public but I feel this needs to be recognized- I get help with childcare , and I have my portion in which I gladly pay because as of now holding a job with one income is hard enough. Most places bill monthly and drop one bill - this location has dropped 3 bills on me insisting I pay more than what I'm required to pay -and then it reflects negatively on my children in what they are getting in their programs. I am very frustrated with this because people get help for many reasons and to allow it to project in the classes singling children out is so horrible (and reflects negatively on the staff and how they lack the children's well-being -mentally). No other kindercare has done this in the past and now I'm starting to feel insecure about the staff chosen at this location and how they address their billing. I have never felt discriminated due to my billing assistance until now. Since when is registration billed separately and it's required to be paid separately from my assistance? And since when is the summer program an additional $80 / kid ? And again not dropped with the main bill ?? I have 2 children in daycare - being on assistance $120 + $160 additional fees on top of my regular copay on a single income is extremely hard. This has truly stressed me out and I have to say I feel since I've started we have been targeted. Not to mention the forms that I was harassed to get my doctors to fill out when it say's recommended not required by doctor and I was told "this is not correct" because the way it was dispensed is different from the way it's dispensed for another child. It's very frustrating that this is happened and now I'm just incredibly uncomfortable at this location. Other than that everything is great. My kids are enjoying it as usual. But I myself am just disappointed.
