There are a good amount of craft food vendors here too, along with handmade items and body care! There's mushrooms, food vendors, cheese, coffee and even the Pesto Diva! I'm guessing it just outgrew that area/space. There are a ton of food vendors, plants, and farms selling fresh produce. The veggie selection looked really good today, especially from Frog Song Organics which is where I picked up some mushrooms, peppers, and tomatoes. I also got some amazing jalapeño ranch pickles from the pickle vendor there. I forgot the name but it had "Dill" in it. So good! Also loved the tent sampling all the dips -- they give you pretzel sticks to try as many as you want. They were very tasty. We brought the whole family out today and it was SO HOT. The only bummer is that there's like zero shade coverage and the sun was brutal. We couldn't stay very long because my toddler was getting overheated. We'll likely go back once the weather starts to cool down.

5 Stars for a weekly farmer's market in the heart of Downtown Orlando, along the beautiful Lake…read moreEola! This market happens every Sunday along Lake Eola and features tons of local produce stalls as well as prepared food and drinks stalls and artisans selling their wares. It's a pleasure to walk around and look through the diversity of offerings. It's massive and one of the larger markets I've ever been to. Plus- they have shaded areas under trees with picnic tables for enjoying your food. It's also dog-friendly, so be prepared to enjoy the vast sizes and breeds strolling along with their owners. Overall, a great market for a fun morning. I wouldn't consider it the best market for dropping by to quickly grab produce, rather it's more of an experience to enjoy on a Sunday.

There is no better way to spend a Sunday than by supporting small, local business and having a picnic on the various lawns. My go-to are Cedar Hive Honey, Worthy Snacks, and House of Jerk Cedar Hive Honey has great honey flavors at a very reasonable price for locally sourced honey! Worthy Snacks have the absolute BEST pork rind flavors. You must get the salt & vinegar and garlic Parmesan- WOW. You get a massive bag for $8 or 2 for $15. House of Jerk has some really unique jerky flavors that my husband and I love. They have a 9 for $20 deal on jerky. A new spot I tried recently was Soulful Sazon. Definitely get their chicken pinchos and seafood egg rolls- yum! Don't forget to stop by and get a fresh coconut water. Very hydrating on a hot day!

On two separate Monday evenings, while seated as a Stardust customer in an area apart from the market, I was verbally confronted by market staffers with no provocation. The first incident involved a male staffer who accused me of obstructing their load-out process -- after the load-out had already been completed without any obstruction from me. When I politely offered to move my table anyway, he escalated, raised his voice, stood over me, and demanded that I "sit in the corner" every time I come to the cafe because he's "been doing this market for fifteen years." His tenure does not give him authority over cafe customers. The second incident was more serious. While spending time with a friend after wrapping up a service I offer with full knowledge and support of the cafe, I returned from the restroom to find an anonymous, defamatory note on my table. Shortly after, a female staffer (Gabby) approached me in front of a full seating area and launched into a loud, disruptive rant, shouting accusations and declaring that I was no longer permitted to be at the cafe on Monday evenings. She has no such authority. When I calmly pointed this out and asked her to leave, she continued shouting until I firmly repeated my request. Multiple people present were visibly unsettled by her behavior. Both staffers invoked "knowing the owner" and "fifteen years" as justification for ordering around a private citizen on property they do not control. At no point did I raise my voice, use profanity, or act in any way that was inappropriate. Stardust Cafe itself is wonderful and their staff has been nothing but welcoming. The Audubon Community Market, however, is run by people who have a deeply disordered sense of their own authority and apparently feel entitled to harass members of the public. Two incidents, two different staffers, same pattern. Give this market a pass.
