If you do look at joining, make a point to note all the (not) "scheduled for maintenance" tags on equipment, esp. the stairmasters. It is crazy stuffy inside with no AC, and half the lights are off, so it's dingy. Promised facilities have been taken away- no more basketball court; pool use limited with classes. Overall I get the sense they are cutting corners on costs. I now go to the Sunnyvale location whenever possible instead.

The group lessons have been very helpful in allowing my sons to gain experience hitting with players at various levels while the private lessons have improved their groundstrokes, volleys, serving, and footwork. Feedback from the instructors is very constructive in letting students understand areas where they need to improve the most and in reinforcing what is working well.

Boss has all the equipment you need to meet your goals…read more There's a dedicated powerlifting section with calibrated plates, tons of strongman equipment, Olympic bumper plates, and cardio equipment as well. Dan also adds essential strength equipment like a chest press, a smith machine, new dumbbells, and new benches. All of these weren't available when I first joined. What's best about the gym is that there's typically no wait which is in contrast to 24 hour fitnesses in the area. The morning time has a solid crew, and there are some really strong members in the evening. Dan is obviously one of the GOATs of powerlifting. As such, he has a ton of knowledge on strength training and lifting. If you're serious about your strength goals this is the place for you. Also, if you're new to fitness, Boss would also be a good fit since it's a private gym, and there's a lot you can learn from Dan and the other trainers here.

Customer service was horrible (Ingrid specifically)…read more I called to schedule a session for my son, Ingrid explained specifically she needed my card to be "held" on file for and when the class was completed. Unfortunately I wasn't able to make the class and I called a day in advance and also called 2 hours before class since I never received a call back and DID NOT WANT TO BE CHARGED. I was still charged the completed class fee. Ingrid (front desk) failed to communicate the charges the day we spoke on the phone for scheduling, once she realized she failed to explain I would be charged to hold spot vs. charged when class was completed. I called back once again once I seen the charge on my bank statement and spoke with Ingrid, I explained I was upset I was never told I would be charged for not completing the class she quickly responded we don't do refunds we can reschedule I said no thank you if you're not able to refund I need to speak with a manager or anyone other then you she refused and hung up on me. I will be escalating this issue. Ingrid not only offended me by speaking down to me but made me feel completely u safe to have little children around. I 100% would never leave or even have my child around Ingrid rude and verbally entitled. The ignorance is unstable.

In addition to having a private gym, there was a decent size space for the party room. Two teachers led a variety of activities, including jumping on a huge inflatable bed, playing with a parachute, circle time, races, and more. There was also plenty of time for free play. I'd say the space is best suited for kids aged 6 and under, as the older kids seemed less interested in the structured games and preferred the free play area. Besides bars and balance beams, there were basketball hoops and rubber balls, which kept the kids entertained. Overall, my kids had a great time, and the parents appreciated that it was a perfect way for the kids to burn off energy in the afternoon!

My daughter is very shy around new people, and Bethany had her comfortable and in the water incredibly quickly. She made a tremendous amount of progress over the course of the summer and loves the pool now! My mom decided to try swimming lessons too after seeing how wonderful Bethany was with my daughter, and she loved her classes with Bethany too. We're so glad we tried this out and will definitely be doing more classes next summer!
