New, clean, air conditioned, shuttle service to Siena College campus. An upgrade from the on campus dorm room.

Staff was great. No complaints and price was decent! Happy with the gym and better than living on campus.

I don't understand why you choose to work in a position that constantly requires helping others, but instead of approaching it respectfully, you reply annoyed and over the situation. You are an adult working with college students during troubling, stressful times, and instead of being helpful you make the situation worse. If it wasn't for her and the man that's usually works with her, I would not be writing this review.

Living there throughout the year was not the main issue. The apartments were okay overall. The…read morerooms were small, but most things worked fine. There were definitely problems, like packages being misplaced in the wrong buildings or having the wrong room numbers written on them, which defeats the whole purpose of sorting packages by room number. The laundry rooms were also frustrating. Sometimes my clothes would come out soaked, and my white sheets were stained by the washer, which is ironic since it did the opposite of cleaning them. The main reason I'm leaving this review is because of the staff and how they handled move out day. I had a situation where the person picking me up did not speak English, and there was a misunderstanding about the move out date. One of my parents was hospitalized, and the other does not drive, so I truly did not have another option. I was already stressed from finals, cleaning the entire apartment after my roommates left it a mess, and trying to avoid any extra fines. I communicated with the staff about what was going on and was even willing to pay for the extra day if needed. I was told to move out by 8 AM before the cleaning crew arrived, so I passed that information along. My ride ended up being late, but there was no cleaning crew in sight. I even waited outside my room so I would not be in anyone's way if they came to clean. Later, I heard loud banging on my door and opened it to a staff member yelling at me. I tried to respectfully explain that my ride was on the way and apologize for the delay, but I was cut off, rolled eyes at, and talked down to about the cleaning crew charges. I understand that I was late moving out, but the way I was spoken to was unnecessary and disrespectful, especially considering the situation was out of my control. I was told to move everything downstairs, but it was already crowded with people moving out, and I had a lot of belongings. I moved some things downstairs and the rest to an open lounge area on my floor so I would not block people. I was exhausted, had not slept the night before, and ended up breaking down from the stress of the whole situation. What made it even more frustrating was hearing that another student had a similar issue with their ride, but once staff realized he was on the basketball team, the tone toward him allegedly changed completely. He was not told to move all of his belongings downstairs or treated with the same aggression. That made the situation feel unfair and inconsistent. To make everything worse, there still was not a cleaning crew in sight. After dropping my things off in storage, I realized I still had my key, so I went back to check the room. It looked exactly the same as when I left it. No cleaning crew had come. I understand that I was not technically in the right because I was late moving out, but I also do not think I deserved to be yelled at or treated like that. The situation was not me being careless. It was a stressful situation involving transportation, family circumstances, and a language barrier. Staff can enforce rules while still treating students with basic kindness and respect. Unfortunately, this experience left a really bad impression.

Luckily, the worker and work quality and timeliness was very good. I didn't have time to wait for others so I conceded and hoped for the best. Fast forward, drippy faucet problem: Called them to replace 4 bathroom faucet cartridge assemblies ($8.59 at ACE each), replaced and the shower handle assembly (approximately $79.00 each on Amazon). I had purchased the assemblies but didn't have time to do the job. The plumber shows a little late to job, has to provide a quote from the owner prior to starting work, and within twenty minutes later after returning to his truck tells me the job will be over $1,300.00. Needless to say, I was shocked and I said no. Within a few seconds after leaving, I was emailed a "dispatch fee Invoice for over $100.00). This appointment was scheduled weeks in advance. Buyer beware with this company and its owner Anthony. I was warned by others but my first experience was very good work and it was an emergency. My next email is too the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) .

Johnson, and they were close by, so I called them. They arrived on time and began the task of replacing filters and orifices on his Buderus boiler and hot water unit. During this work, the tech attempted to fire up the furnace using the digital "aquastat" (a sort of thermostat) on the furnace itself. Then he realized he was missing one of the correct filters, so the tech had to return to complete the routine job-which he did-and handed my dad a bill for nearly $600, which my dad paid immediately. As the technician was about to leave, my dad asked "aren't you going to fire it up to check it?" He tried-and it was dead. Th hot water heater fired up, but the furnace did not. He was unable to determine the cause. So he assured us someone more knowledgeable would contact us with an appointment to identify the problem. The service manager, Ron, came and determined that the reason the furnace was dead was due to a bad Aquastat. He claimed "they blow easily, just like a light switch". Mind you: the furnace worked just fine before A Johnson came to do a routine maintenance. So A Johnson sent us an estimate for $1030.31 for repair. Yes. $1030.31-AFTER paying around $580 for a routine maintenance which left his furnace disabled (see attached). After calling to complain that it seemed unfair-that the furnace was working just fine until they showed up-their owner called back and said he understood, and would give me "VIP PRICING". It was reduced to $791.16. (See attached) I definitely felt like a VIP. No, I did not allow them back. In fact I had another company do the work for HALF that amount. Just horrible practice. Gouging a senior citizen on a fixed income. A Johnson , I learned later -was bought by a larger company and their 'hand are tied' in some regards. Nevertheless. I'll never do business with them again.
