Im someone who does not have dental insurance and as such i choose this dentist bc it was suppose…read moreto be affordable when I first started visiting this dentist in 2023 my cleanings have always been 110 with a cash discount over the past 2 cleaning they have charged me double wht a normal cleaning should cost of course I review my receipt and I am being charged 70$ for the dentist , not the hygienist to come in for only a simply 15 seconds they also tried to get x rays in which I told them no I only have money for a cleaning (I also declined bc my orthodontist won't charge me for those it's included in my braces ) and they still send tht dentist in and charge me for such little of his time . I currently have braces on which mean I see and an orthodontist every 8 weeks he spends more time making sure I feel heard and taken care of which is more than can be said for this smith guy. I tried to tell smith tht I was having pain in my tooth I made a whole separate visit for this pain and once again was charged such an outrages price it made my head spin and in the end he said there is nothing wrong and when I had my orthodontist appointment I made sure to tell him about my problem and he immediately found what the issue was so clearly smith needs to do more to make sure his patients are getting actual dental care. They ladies at the front desk are so pretty but those attitudes are just as bad as smiths dental work/ bed side manner. PLEASE PLEASE don't give these people you money or time worst dentist ever!!!!!!!!!

I got a refund after informing the practice that I wasn't informed of this procedure beforehand. Apart from this, Doctor Seri's advice to use my custom-made mouth guard turned out to be very helpful--she kept forgetting that I already had one and was suggesting that they make one for me, but she allowed herself to be corrected when I told her I had one already. I also took offense to some things the hygienist said, even if she was comforting at times and gave me very helpful suggestions for home care. She even told me "you don't have a bad mouth" which relieved my anxieties. All in all, it's an okay clinic but a little big.

She said she did not work there; she was there covering as a traveling hygienist. To add, the cleaning I received was not as I expected; it was over really quickly and did not feel thorough. I have had better cleanings performed in the past. Four months after my appointment, I am now being billed by Houston Dental for the X-rays, stating that my insurance did not cover them. Upon speaking with my insurance provider, they assured me it was due to a lack of transparency from the dental office. Someone in that office is not properly checking patients' insurance. When I raised concerns about frequency limitations and how they failed to properly verify my insurance coverage, Donna, Lineth, and the office manager, Brandy, made matters worse. They were disorganized and uninterested in addressing my concerns, but the real standout in terms of unprofessionalism was Britney, the manager. Instead of assisting me with my issues, she was dismissive and rude. It was frustrating to feel like I was talking to a brick wall when all I wanted was some clarity regarding my billing. I would not recommend this practice to anyone who values transparency and respectful customer service. There are plenty of other dental offices that offer both quality care and a more professional atmosphere. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere.

They use old equipment because the drill broke in my mouth and I swallowed the burr. They sent me to the hospital to get it taken care of and never offered to pay for the cost that I incurred from the incident. I am still being monitored today and have costs from this incident. But they were sure to collect their money I owed to them. The dentist called me, but I felt it was only because he wanted to know if I wanted to get council for what happened. When I called after leaving the hospital I asked questions and the receptionist stated she could not help and never even offered to see if the dentist could answer my questions. I have suffered further medical bills, and they did not care or offer to pay for the care I needed due to their negligence. I will never visit this dentist again because after all of the bad treatment they gave me a crown and I informed them I had trouble opening my mouth for 2 weeks after and he never even checked it out to see what may be wrong.
