Went to my M.D. --- Oh yeah, well we have prescription Lamasil, but you need blood tests and it may kill you. Well only 1 in 10,000 die from it sooo, you can take that. Covered by your insurance! Yay. Option 2: Contracted staph from a playing Jiu-Jitsu at several places in town. Went to the M.D. ---Okay, we got it, prescription Lamasil topical cream, just rub this everywhere. IT MADE MY HAIR FALL OUT! I'm 30, so that can start to happen, but c'mon, tell me what the stuff is going to do! Argh. Now I'm shopping for rogaine. Went to see GroundSpring. "Do you have anything?" Oh sure, just take this herb twice a day and EVERYTHING will go away. Now understand that I had cracked flaky skin on my hands, red spots on my neck and chest, athletes foot, the whole gamut. Very holistic approach and understanding of the body is incredible. I've gone to many place and usually other places are quick and just do the basic adjustments. I typically have to hydrate ALOT and can be sore after. But here, it's very precise and your body is taken care of with time, effort, and knowledge. I never had after soreness and hydrated a normal amount and don't need nice or heat after. The 1st visit was about 2 hours. She was very through measuring my range of moment, blood pressure check and adrenal gland test (using a wrist monitor having me sit & stand). She then starts the acupuncture. After the acupuncture she does trigger point message (amazingly strong fingers for a petite lady) in the areas I'm having treatment. She even did some stretching exercises for me. I've been to her several times now and feel much better. I'm still having back pain but I don't expect just 7 sessions of acupuncture to fix something I've been dealing with for 3 years. But her treatments have definitely been helping. The office is at the end of a long corridor. It's simple in décor and has about 5 treatment rooms. Her husband, Tom works the front very nice talkative man. She also offers herbal supplements. I highly recommend this center and look forward to getting rid of my back pain (my neck pain is gone after treatments but returns 3-4 days later).

Here's my short issue: Lower back pains; Strains in my L and S area, but luckily no sciatic pain down my leg. I started having lower back pain about 5 years. I had done a cortisone shot the first year, but that only gave me relief for a year. Did another shot a second year, and no "instant" relief or any relief at all. I was puzzled and upset. Third year, started doing physical therapy, yet the pain would not go away. My doctor tells me, I'm gonna need to live with lower back pain and manage it (eye-roller).
