I've been a patient of Dr. Crokin for 5 years now. He cares about his patients and is careful to inquire before, during, and after treatment. I've never left his office feeling sore or worse off. I scheduled a 90 massage with Scott and it was an amazing experience. I had no idea some of the issues and tenderness my body was feeling, until he began! He was very informative of what he was doing and talked me through each step of his therapy! Richard Cronin may very well have saved my life/mobility. I went in with nagging neck pain. He took an X-ray and immediately insisted that I see a specialist/surgeon. He did a very gentle massage which alleviated the pain somewhat. After I had the appropriate cat scans the surgeon operated on me 6 days later to replace 2 crushed vertebrae. I had never been to a chiropractor before but it was suggested to me that I go as I had neck and shoulder pain that wouldn't quit. Dr Fox was very understanding and took x-rays and discussed what he could do for me. I felt comfortable in his office and everyone there is quite friendly. One time when Dr Fox was not available I met up with and saw his associate. While I didn't care for his work as well as Dr Fox. I believe this is much like any service business you have to find what works for you. So, I'm not trying to diminish anyone's work but it didn't work for me. Your results may vary. I will most likely go back here if/when I need care again. Only one detractor is the billing has be watched carefully. I wrote a $100 check and was credited for $90. My insurance paid a certain amount but I was credited for a different amount. They are happy to reverse these and make it right but you have to watch it. They will let you make payments if you get a lot of work done in a short period and it gets over your budget. All in all a good, honest place. I would recommend. read more

One of the worst chiropractor I have ever been to. Doesn't listen, didn't feel he care about my concern, and disrespectful. Treatment was basically just pressure you to receive a spa-like massage by their in house technician which didn't help with the pain at all. I have had skilled chiropractor that improve my pain in just 1 visit in different state before, It's not hard to spot an unskillful chiropractor. Almost a year later, insurrance company sent letter to request more info regard to the appointment, which had never happened amount the more than 10 chiropractors that I visited over the years. He had me come in to get checked up. He fit me into his schedule that same morning! It was greatly appreciated as I was going on vacation a few days later. My session with Dr. Crokin helped so much! Miracle worker is a title that comes first to mind on my experience with Dr. Crokin. I had been experiencing months of nightmares, middle of the night anxiety attacks and terrors that was causing me many many nights of little to no sleep. I felt helpless and didn't know what to do, but didn't want to go to my doctor and be prescribed a drug prescription. Thankfully I hurt my back and being new to the area didn't know where to turn before driving past Fox Chiropractic one day and felt I should call for an appointment . I explained my back pain and they got me right in. After talking with me, Dr. Crokin decided I needed not only my back looked at but examined me and decided my whole body was out of alignment and tense so that also was going to be addressed in my visits. Don Fox at Fox Chiropractic has done wonders for all of my injuries. I've been an athlete for years now and never took the time to take care of my body in the way that it needs. One day I said enough was enough and a friend told me to go see Don. After 6 months I felt better than I did before I was injured. I have been in chiropractic care for most of my 45 years due to car accidents, work related (non-ergonomic setting), and falls from horses. Coming from Michigan to Oregon in 2000 I had gone to about 6 chiropractors before I met Dr. Crokin. He has been able to keep my body aligned, correct what was out of alignment, and has done so very quickly and efficiently. Recently my right shoulder was causing me considerable pain, and I didn't think it was torn, just over a few days time got worse and worse until I could not dress myself without help. My right arm was useless. I was looking up Orthopedic Doctors when I thought of: "Why not give Dr. Crokin a call and ask his opinion, maybe get recommendation from him." Well, I didn't need a recommendation, it turned out that they have a Lightforce Laser therapy for pain. So, with a chiropractic adjustment and three consecutive days of Laser my pain has gone from an 8-9 to a 1-2 on the pain scale unmedicated. Today was the first day I have not taken anything. As it turns out my shoulder had a subluxation (minor dislocation) that popped back in last night and the inflammation is almost gone. I highly recommend this clinic, all the people I have met are very friendly and helpful. Scheduling is usually quick, so you are not waiting around in pain. And I have not seen the "quackery" that the previous 6 chiropractors I went to in the Portland area are practicing. I have been going to Fox Chiropractic for a couple of years now. I see Dr. Crokin for adjustments and Jake for massage. I am an active person, involved in both CrossFit and Jiu Jitsu and as a consequence, I experience a lot of kinks and cricks along the way. When things get a little off, or tremendously uncomfortable, I count on the clinic to get me back in order. It is such a relief to be able call and get in, often within the same day. I was referred to Fox Clinic by a friend/co-worker a few months ago. I am 53 years old and have chronic pain as a result of playing football and a serious car accident. My pain got so bad I needed to do something proactive so I took my friends advice and made an appointment. I was seen by Richard who did a thorough exam and x-rays, followed by a spine manipulation. I have been going now for a few months and the results have been fabulous. My pain has slowly decreased to a manageable level, which as a result has allowed me to do things I have not been able to do previously. I like to believe I am an active individual, but had noticed over the past 5 years my pain had become somewhat debilitating when it came to certain activities. Even activities I was able to perform would result in subsequent pain lasting from a few days to a few weeks. My recovery time has greatly shortened, and overall I just feel better. I have Richard and the Fox Clinic to thank for that. Due to 2 serious car accidents and numerous football injuries I have seen several chiropractors and physical therapists, and I can say with the utmost of confidence that Rich is hands down the best Chiropractor I have seen over the years.
