my Bimini top on my boat was at the end of its life. Collins did an excellent job of making a new one using the old top as a template. They ordered material and completed the job within two weeks. I installed the new top but managed to get a zipper misaligned and stuck. Brand new headliner. On time as stated. Better than new. My sons car had the headliner dry rot and fall down. Took it in to Collins, got a quote, was quite a good deal. Picked up the car and wow, best part of the car is now the headliner. Looked spanking brand new so long as you don't look at the way my son keeps the rest of the car. Goodness, kids these days don't know how good they have it. Anyway, if ever your headliner looks like it has seen it's last day, please drive to Collins, they got the hook up waiting for you. Several years ago, they replaced the headliner on my VW Jetta. So when the headliner on the removable hard top on my convertible fell on my head, there was no question who I should go to. They removed the top and a couple of days later called me to pick it up. They carried it over and placed it on the car. You can't tell the difference between how the car looked 20 years ago and how it looks now. They did a beautiful job and at far less money than I was expecting to pay. read more

Heard good things about this company so I figured I'd check them out. I brought him 2 armrests and 2 kneepads from a wheelchair. These pieces are not very big and would only require one Square yard or less. He quoted me $400! I told him that is way too much and ask for a discount for the disabled. He replied with "I already give as much discount to the disabled as I can". I could buy a lazy boy recliner brand new for that price! Anyway I went to the next place not even 2 miles away with a quote half the price, twice as reasonable! :-) read more

Great work tackling an unusual job. We've had awnings on our outdoor living area for almost ten years. The company that installed them did a lousy job and one of the curtains was ripping out as well as not quite meeting the floor, creating a problem during freezing weather. Rick and his crew removed the panel, took it back to the shop, and replaced it better than new. They had to make several trips in order to get things exactly right, but they were determined that we would be satisfied. This may be one of the worst customer experiences "we" have ever experienced. First my wife tried to use them to reupholster our eight barstools but was generally put off by Ricks effort to make her feel like an unwanted inconvenience. I then volunteered to try my hand at working with Rick thinking he just doesn't like women. Well was I wrong about that - turns out he doesn't like customers. The shop is a mess, run down and disorganized. Rick isnt helpful and is fully prepared to disagree with you on everything. When I asked for help picking a quality faux leather with a distressed look he said he couldn't help because customers leave everything a mess so he couldn't help narrow the choices! As a new resident of Colleyville I have had dozens of great customer experiences, but this is the single black eye. read more

We had Collins replace interior roof fabric of 2005 Honda Accord and the very next weekend went out of town in pouring rain and had roof leaking all weekend, dripping on us. We took it back to Collins and they assured us it was nothing they did, yet in 2017 it had never leaked until right after they replaced it. They "blew leaves out" claiming it was probably the cause. (We park in garage) It continues to leak during rain. Two other places agree that it was caused from the fabric replacement. read more
