Highly, highly recommended. From the moment I reached out, communication was top-notch. He was prompt, professional, and asked the right questions to understand the issue before even arriving. He showed up right on time (a walked me through what he saw, and clearly explained the best options for repair. I had some pretty bad water damage under my kitchen sink and was honestly dreading the process of getting it fixed, but Scott made the process so easy. There was more damage than I originally thought. He calmly assessed the situation, laid out a detailed game plan, and handled it like a pro. He even sourced materials on the fly and kept me updated every step of the way. On top of that, he's super friendly, respectful of your space, and really takes pride in his work. The attention to detail was amazing. Place looked great when he wrapped up, nice and neat. The wife was very pleased. Hire Scott and relax as he is that someone to fix it.

His service was outstanding and I'll definitely be using him in the future!

I used Shelton Painting twice. The first time I used them, they were definitely 5 star. The second…read moretime, it was a 2. I'm giving them a 3 as an average. These guys were recommended by a friend of my boyfriend. Landon Shelton is the owner, and was nice and professional. I usually dealt with Grayson, Landon's right hand man. Grayson came over, looked at the space, and gave me a quote. The crew showed up promptly and was very professional. Grayson went over with the crew what was being painted, where, etc. As they set up their prep (cover the floors, tape, etc), Grayson went to Sherwin Williams and bought the paint. I left the color selection for the bedroom up to him and I think it's a great color. The painting job took all day, as Grayson said it would. Landon came by right before lunch time to check on things and make sure everything was going well. The head of the crew (Manuel, I believe?) was very nice and he went through with me what paint was where so I could label the cans in case I ever needed a touch-up. They didn't get a DROP of paint on the mantle, which I didn't want painted. A month-ish later, when I decided to splurge and have the kitchen painted, I called Shelton Painting. Grayson came out and had the previous quote that Landon had given me for the kitchen, and we also got quotes for having the dining room painted, and another bedroom. I decided to go full steam ahead and have it all done. We schedule, and everything seems good... Until paint day arrives. They didn't tell us ahead of time that this would be a 2-day project. It makes sense: taking the wallpaper down and then re-texturing the walls is an involved process; but it would've been nice to know ahead of time. Thankfully, our schedules worked out and it's fine. Again, as last time, I let Landon pick the paint colors. I'm really happy with the colors and never would've picked the kitchen color myself. They asked if they could use our microwave, and we said that was fine. The actual paint job left something to be desired, though. It was later explained that they let another crew member lead the crew, because they thought he was ready for that responsibility. He wasn't. When they were done on day 2, I noticed these things. -pieces of wallpaper inside my brand new dishwasher -paint drops on my counter top, my stove, on the skirt of my dishwasher, on the side of my fridge, on the floors in the kitchen and in the living room -microwave was filthy inside (it had literally never been used before we let them use it) and also had paint, dust, and dirty hand prints all over the outside -Brand new garbage disposal was covered in paint -The paint line between the wall and ceiling was amateur at best; very wobbly and unprofessional I called Grayson and left a message about the problems. We played phone tag for the next few days, when he promised to get a crew out within a few weeks to take care of it. I told him that was unacceptable, and he had a crew out the next day. They cleaned the paint off of most of the areas they left it, removed the trash from my dishwasher, cleaned the microwave (a bit), and touched up the line where the wall meets the ceiling. I later noticed that there are at least 3 small places in the kitchen where they flat out did not paint. I decided it wouldn't be worth trying to call them back out for such a small area. Also, most of the cracks in the walls they repaired prior to painting have returned. The house has not shifted, and these are the exact same cracks they covered up. There are also paint drips on a few cabinets where there was obviously just too much paint on the brush. If my second experience had been as amazing as my first, I would've used them for several jobs (including exterior). As it stands now, I won't use them again. It was too much of a hassle to get the issues from the second job corrected. I know that I'm not having them paint every inch of a 4,000 sq ft house, but for $4,000 worth of work, I'd expect to not have the problems I did. I'd still probably recommend them, but VERY THOROUGHLY check the work before they leave, even if you've been at work all day and are exhausted.

Landon showed up to give us an estimate and suggested some colors to paint the walls and ceiling. Both of his suggestions were exactly what my wife was looking for. The crew showed up on time, along with Landon to help give some brief instructions. Robert stopped by throughout the day to check on the crew as well. They were very careful to cover up the furniture, electronics and floors. The job took roughly two days. Great company to work with and would highly recommend them.
