Wow! I'm impressed with the service I received. Went in for estimate for my truck. He gave me an idea of what my truck needs and he was so helpful. I went to other shops in town, and nowhere have I had service like this. Great shop and although I decided on going a different direction, I will come to this place in the future Update: Stopped by On Sept 23rd, and talked to Javier again to see about installing a replacement door and fender for my Tahoe. My passenger door and fender were pretty worn down and he said he can do the work needed to replace and install the 2 huge parts. I decided to buy the parts myself and have his guys install it. He gave me a quote and I said let's do it. He said come in Monday morning. Now, unlike other body shops where you get the run around or have to call back to "see if theirs an opening" or body shops forgetting about your appointment,... None of that happened here! Arrived Mon the 28th and he said he may need all day and possibly tomorrow morning. I said "keep it a week." I've had the damage for over a year and I can wait a few more days.... Just got my Acura ILX back from the shop and it looks brand. spanking. new. This is the second time Collision Auto Care has taken care of me and my Acura. I am so mad that I don't have before and after pictures to post but I assure you, all the damage to the body are 100% gone and the car looks so perfect. The first time my car was hit from the side by a motorcycle and the damage was limited to a small area but was pretty deep. Javier, the owner, is very professional, has EXCELLENT customer service and got my car back to me very fast, which was nice to minimize my time in a rental car. I didn't end up using insurance but he helps you to easily navigate the process if you do end up using insurance. My second time as a customer was this month and the damages were pretty bad. I side swiped a guard rail and it gouged deeply through every single panel on the right side of my car. Four other auto body shops in the area quoted me at $3-4 thousand for the damages and the quote from Collision Auto Care was almost half that. My great experience with their work last time made the choice an easy one. My final payment both times has been exactly as quoted and Javier is generous enough to provide personal transport service to get you to the rental car facility or wherever you need to be. He also has recently added a wide variety of refreshments to the waiting area, which is really nice, but I have never had so much as a five minute wait here. I bumped my friends car in my driveway at my house in Rescue (El Dorado County) and knew I had to make it right, so I thought, "Oh boy, here we go with potentially being gouged and paying too much!" I had broken a clip on the front bumper and slightly bent the front light housing. I feared the worst. My friend lives in Modesto, so I searched Yelp there and liked the enthusiastic reviews for Javier and Collision Auto Care (CAC). I had my friend contact them and two other shops. He settled on CAC and Javier; very reasonable estimate ($750) and he said Javier was very friendly and had a great vibe about him. I talked to Javier on the phone. He couldn't take credit card info over the phone, but offered that I could send him a check for $400 as a deposit. That saved me a 3.5 hour round trip drive! He did say that if the front bumper around the light housing was bent too badly, it would require a new front light, but that he would do his best to salvage and repair what he could. My friend called me yesterday from CAC and said Javier had done a fantastic job. The final bill? $331 more for a total of $731. I talked to Javier and completed a credit card transaction over the phone and we were done! I always expect the worst with body work. So often, what looks minor costs thousands. I was determined to be responsible and absolutely trusted my friend to allow me to make this right and Javier made it relatively painless. I was never there physically, but Javier was always professional and personable with me on the phone and my friend was totally happy with the work. I just want to say a big thanks to Javier, the owner of Collision Auto Care. Like other reviewers, I think Javier's service is great and his prices are really good/cheaper than most other places (which is great for those who don't want to run the repairs through insurance). I (unfortunately) hit a rock on the road and it forced me to have my bumpers replaced. After having my bumpers replaced by a friend of a friend (yes I was trying to be cheap), I still had a few finishing items to fix. I needed to install a new splash guard for my driver front tire, and all of my other splash guards were loose. I decided that I wanted to take the car into a real body shop (not some mobile service or somebody's home) since I really wanted to make sure the job would be done right and I was running into more hassles than I expected from the friend of the friend. I saw the positive reviews for Collision Auto Care, so I gave him a call. He answered my call right away, said that he can do my small job, gave me a quote over the phone, and was able to see me same day. I drove down to the shop (which is on the border of Ceres and Modesto), and he was able in 45 minutes install the splash guard and tightened all of my other splash guards for $40. Javier walked me through what he did, and he said that if there's any issues to just bring the car back. Its been 2 weeks and everything is great :) Great place and highly recommended! read more
