Unprofessional and Rude - Avoid!…read more Today I contacted "Mark" from COLOROMETICS, who responded via text, for a wheel repair quote. I needed about 4 inches of repair, and he quoted me $159 without any breakdown of the costs. This was significantly higher than another quote I received for $90 for a similar repair. While I understood with the other company that the $90 price might mean a less-than-perfect finish, Mark didn't even leave room for dialogue about options. A professional would have offered alternatives like, "Depending on what you want, we can try a less aggressive approach for $90," or something similar. He simply didn't seem to care about building a relationship with a potential client or exploring different solutions. What was truly off-putting, however, was Mark's unprofessional and unsolicited opinionated tone in his text messages. When discussing the repair, I may have used the wrong terminology like "blend," but it clearly set him off. He rudely responded with "It's not a painted finish so blending is not an option. Sounds like you got a someone that's doesn't know what they are talking about. Lol Best of luck to you." This defensive, dismissive, and frankly, childish attitude is a really horrible business practice. For such a short conversation with that much reactivity, I would imagine he's a nightmare when he believes a client wronged him my god. I would strongly advise against using COLOROMETICS or dealing with Mark. There are clearly other businesses out there that offer better pricing and, more importantly, professional and respectful customer service. Save yourself the drama and look elsewhere. He claimed he could buff out some scratches on my side view mirror along with some little dings on the door. He basically sanded off the scratches and put a bunch off armor all on it to make it look shiny, but once I wiped it off, I could see he sanded all my clear coat off!

They had done some quick body repair in a grocery store parking lot for my friend in San Diego. They had fixed some minor sun damage on my friends hood, and scratch/dent/paint damage on the driver side from a parking garage pillar. Reached out to "John" aka Angelo Johnathon Stevens on Instagram via messenger to get a quote on body repair and paint. Was quoted a reasonable price, so I decided to proceed. His partner "Daniel" aka Daniel James Martinof reached out to me and said he could make it to me that same day. He explained everything in great detail and even asked for my paint color listed on the inside of the door. I thought the price originally quoted included the paint but apparently not, because he was giving me a different price when he got there. I was then hesitant to proceed with the paint and thought about just having him repair the body damage. He was adamant though about repairing both the body damage and paint since he was already there with the paint. He lowered the price but would let me think about the paint while he repaired the body damage. I paid a small deposit for him to get started. Came back once he said he was done but he had also done the paint too. I was confused and felt pressured to go along with things. I was initially concerned about the appearance of things but he said everything just needed to cure first. Then he covered everything up with wax, claiming it would protect it while it cured. He said to wash it off after 24 hours but said it would be okay to wait till Saturday morning. He made me pay and left in a hurry. Saturday morning came and I had a hard time getting off the wax. Also the appearance did not change. The color was darker and did not have a glossy finish. It was applied unevenly and I could still see scratches. He got paint on my black mudguards and painted over one of my black sensors. I called Daniel and he assured me that the hot weather probably didn't allow things to cure properly but that he would come back out to fix it in a few days.
