Is this the most modern rink in South Florida? No. Could it use a little remodeling of the common…read moreareas? Sure. But if you're there to take lessons and to skate, you're in great hands. The teachers are patient and take time with students to help them learn the elements. Prices for 5 week lessons are fair and include unlimited free skate sessions to practice during each term. I want to share a special shout out to the Skate Guards. They're very kind and helpful. Always there if someone falls and providing assistance and guidance to those who ask. I'm happy to see more rinks coming to the area and skating have a larger presence in South Florida. This is a great neighborhood rink that deserves more love. Plus, it's a nice reprieve from the oppressive heat outside.

This was a Sunday evening after the local team does there practice . I did see a space for birthday parties for children as well which was nice. The rink floor was normal and nice . Clean and always had a staff present for safety. There is a food lounge where you can purchase items if cold or hungry . If you forget there is a section to purchase gloves and also skate buddies to help those who aren't fully trained in ice skating. I do think this may be the only location in the area so overall for us and my needs it was good to go. Definitely is an older building which you can see from the outside and inside a bit but all in all well kept .

Our experience with Boomers volleyball club has been absolutely amazing. From the moment my…read moredaughter joined, we could tell that this is a club that truly cares about its athletes--not only as volleyball players, but as people. The environment is positive, encouraging, competitive, and welcoming, and the coaches do an incredible job helping every player grow and become more confident. Coach Brooke is truly one of a kind. She is knowledgeable, patient, motivating, and always willing to take the time to help players improve. We are looking forward to our 3rd season at Boomers.

1-Star Review I…read morewould not recommend joining this club. Everything seems fine until you raise concerns about playing time. My daughter attended nearly every practice throughout the season, yet when I questioned her lack of playing time at tournaments, our concerns were dismissed rather than addressed. More troubling was the behavior of her coach. On multiple occasions, players were called derogatory names, and it was not uncommon to see athletes leave practices or tournaments in tears. Several parents documented concerns regarding the coach's conduct, yet the club continued to support him without meaningful accountability. The club also promised opportunities for players to share their concerns through individual meetings, but those meetings never took place. When I expressed that my daughter was not comfortable meeting alone with her coach lmy concerns were repeatedly ignored and no alternative solution was offered. After ultimately leaving the club, I requested a refund for the final month since my daughter was no longer participating. The club refused and has remained unwilling to work toward a reasonable resolution. Based on our experience, I would encourage families to carefully consider their options before committing to this club. There are other organizations that place a greater emphasis on player development, communication, and accountability, and who do not value their monthly fee more than their players well being.

Park amenities include a shade covered playground, covered basketball court, three sports fields, concession stand, dog run, exercise path, and disc golf. There is also a building that can be rented for meetings, special events, classes, and private parties. There is a plenty of parking for the recreational leagues. I was surprised at how nicely kept this park is. On the day I visited there were several teams using the fields, a group of people enjoying the shade covered basketball courts, and another group playing disc golf. I walked around for exercise and checked out the wildlife near the water. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here again but if you live in the neighborhood this is a wonderful recreational amenity to have.

They have a large basketball court area, a small park, football and 2 baseball fields. They do a lot of children's team leagues here. My nephew Jack plays here 3 days a week for a little league baseball team. He used to be on a soccer league here too a few years back that practices on the football field. They have a concession stand that is open during games that takes cash only. The park is kept pretty clean and the bathrooms are usually decent enough to use for a public park. There is plenty of parking in the lot. Most of the people that use this park either live in the neighborhood or just take their kids there for games etc. It's an ok park nothing special really.
