Is this the most modern rink in South Florida? No. Could it use a little remodeling of the common areas? Sure. But if you're there to take lessons and to skate, you're in great hands. The teachers are patient and take time with students to help them learn the elements. Prices for 5 week lessons are fair and include unlimited free skate sessions to practice during each term. I want to share a special shout out to the Skate Guards. They're very kind and helpful. Always there if someone falls and providing assistance and guidance to those who ask. I'm happy to see more rinks coming to the area and skating have a larger presence in South Florida. This is a great neighborhood rink that deserves more love. Plus, it's a nice reprieve from the oppressive heat outside. read more

Took the kiddies ice skating for a birthday event and it went well . Took advantage of a package deal that included 5 people and skates . This was a Sunday evening after the local team does there practice . I did see a space for birthday parties for children as well which was nice. The rink floor was normal and nice . Clean and always had a staff present for safety. There is a food lounge where you can purchase items if cold or hungry . If you forget there is a section to purchase gloves and also skate buddies to help those who aren't fully trained in ice skating. I do think this may be the only location in the area so overall for us and my needs it was good to go. Definitely is an older building which you can see from the outside and inside a bit but all in all well kept . read more

So to start with I really like the locker rooms, size and space is good but could use a certain spot for sticks. My main problem has to do with the bathrooms and locker rooms. For the bathrooms, I've only seen the woman's but only one stall has a lock and that's a small one so if someone in a wheelchair had to use the bathroom they can't since the door doesn't shut. The ice is a bit bump and kinda needs to be redone by the zamboni door. Also, I was jumping the doors and, these ones here are tall and skinny, the metal pillars that hold the boards together kind of stick out and while I was jumping the boards I got cut on my stomach. read more

Visiting the area from out of state and we're very happy we found this rink to practice! Their website is easy to read and accurate, open public skate almost daily, super friendly staff!! Great people, great atmosphere, family friendly! Good music, some video games, food bar, nice and clean! No complaints! Keep up the good work! Had a great date night! Wanted to do something different and this was surely something for the childhood memories. It's an ice rink, it has the older vibe feel as if we were in early 2000s again Had a fantastic time! Will be coming back Not sure what those bad reviews were talking about. I went to rink on the beach on a Sunday night to take my kids for open skate. I ordered one pretzel and cheese while my other two kids were skating.. My kid wanted pretzel with cheese and the guy behind the counter for me that there was no more cheese. I overheard them saying that they did not want to open up a new can two hours before close and heated up.. I know this might sound a little generic to some people, but to me hospitality is gone here at rink on the beach. Laziness is unacceptable read more

First time going last Friday, went with the family had a blast. My son got the hang of it really quick and wants to go back.

Used to come here all the time every Friday night when I was in middle school and boy has it changed! $15 admission + $5 skate rental. Tonight was open skate 8:30-10 and it was a great time, they had music and lights. The snack bar that was reconstructed looks great but I'm pretty upset they got rid of all the benches that used to be in the lobby, now there's only a few tables & chairs. read more

Overall the rink is a great place to take ur kids just to enjoy their self. But yesterday was probably the worst experience I ever had going there there was a girl doing skate guard and I fell down on the ice I needed help getting up I tried to wave her down and get her attention she looked at me and just kept skating. Luckily I wasn't hurt as I'm on the ice still some guy with a rink on the beach hoodie comes and ask me if I needed any help getting up I told him yes and I asked him if he worked here at all he said no he just helps out around the place just wanted to state a fact that the skate guard is that Taylor girl and she shouldn't be doing skate guard if she is going to really help people. This was my childhood ice-skating rink. The one I came to for all my birthday parties! I havent been in years and went online to purchase public skating for two hours with my wife as we are taking lessons and wanted to practice since palm beach skate zone had a hockey tournament this weekend. They don't tell you that the main normal size rink is occupied with hockey, and they put u in this rink that's not even a quarter of the size of a normal rink. The ice skates are old and don't match the laces are ripped and knotted, it would be nice for them to replace laces at least. It's dark dirty the ice is melting, the air conditioning doesn't work. Honestly a horrible experience and would never recommend it to anyone and would have loved to enjoy it like I used to for my birthdays but it is my final goodbye to this location read more

Excellent place to ice skate with very good music for youngsters. They have different times for public skate and team practice skate so beware of that. Rental and admission isn't so expensive. Great for beginners as well because they rent you a skate/walker where you can lean on for balance. You didn't hear this from me but CHECK GROUPON for a better group price ;) read more

Was super dissatisfied and disappointed when my Groupon reminded me to go to this location. I went with my kids and their friends only to be told that they don't accept Groupon anymore, which doesn't expire til end of March. The guy at the counter said the Owner actually stopped the coupons because of Covid :/ wow way to help out the neighborhood :( Also my $22 Groupon was for 4 people including skates. The new price.... $68!!! Rip off. Going bowling instead! I want to include I grew up in pompano and used several groupons here for the last 3 years! The place is run down and prob won't pass health codes, I would never pay full price and NEVER the new higher price. read more

I planned a fundraiser for a local charity at this rink. A few weeks before the event when I called to ask a question they informed me that the person who scheduled it had been fired and she had given me the wrong price. Instead of honoring the price I was given they wanted to charge me almost 30% more. When I explained that this was for a charity and it wouldn't be possible to go back and present new prices they stated we should go out and fund raise for more money because they where not supporting the charity. I even offered to pay the higher price myself if they got rid of a lesser fee for bringing in food and they refused to compromise.. I wasn't asking them to be generous I was just asking them to honor the price on the receipt I had received when I made the deposit. Not only did they refuse they then stated they where canceling the event (which was for families in need especially in these tough economic times). The owner and his fiancé are unethical and if you deal with them I would get everything in writing. Luckily, Boca ice a brand a new beautiful rink in Boca was more then happy to help out not only meeting the price but also throwing in extras since they are excited to work with. charities in our community. I strongly suggest you look to Boca Ice since it is a wonderful, clean, family run establishment that actually wants your business and to work with local charities. I'm actually not sure how long the rink on the beach will survive with this superior rink only minutes. Look to Boca ice you will be much happier with there services. read more

We took our children for the first time ice skating here. I got a deal on Groupon and everything went well. We got a choice of hockey skates or figure skates. Staff was friendly, no lines, things moved nicely. The walker thing for kids on ice worked as it should and was easy to navigate on ice. The rink wasn't packed, everyone was having lots of fun. The zamboni was fast and fun to watch for the kids. I would definitely come back without our kids for a date night. read more

I've skated here several times with friends, and a few years ago my little brother had his birthday party here. It's reasonably priced, never (in my experience) overly crowded, and they sell some pretty good hot chocolate. In summation, it's a great experience every time...
