My doctor no longer works here (Dr.Yoder) was my physician The doctor (PA) Sonila Musta Kina that I saw today is the absolute WORST doctor I've ever encountered! She was very dismissive, she took me off of medications that I've been on for years (I have Lupus and fighting to not get stomach cancer) but because she doesn't like them she removed them and said that I need a specialist to get those medications.. this is the same office that have refilled my medications plenty of times before. Fast forward I then heard her kindly speak to other patients (ones that skin isn't like mine) and it was a completely different tone. I don't know if she ended up given them just as bad service and care as she did me but I will NEVER see her again (I rather die). Then I requested to speak to the office manager and she wasn't no help.. the PA really got nasty after I wanted to speak to the office manager. While I was never a patient there, St.Vincent's has been phenomenal in taking care of my boyfriend and my Mother when they had issues. It never dawned on me that behind the hospital in the Joe Adams building they were seeing people for everyday care. I went in and the staff were so friendly, seeing that I was a new patient. I had requested they send me all the new patient paperwork in the mail so that I could fill it out ahead of time, especially the medical records transfer and they did this in a matter of days. I waited maybe 10 minutes before I was called back. My new doctor, Dr. Katie Longo, might be slightly younger than me but she was so helpful an courteous. We reviewed all my old records and anything that may have come up since my last doctor's visit and she put everything in the system. She also informed me that I don't need certain exams as often as I had been going prior. I wish my old doctor had told me that. I could have saved myself unnecessary trips. I really like her and I love how it's so close to me now. I would definitely recommend this doctor's office to anyone.

I was able to check in for my appointment for a blood draw to be followed by an x-ray. I didn't get to sit three minutes and I was called for the blood draw lol. I was not by such a lovely woman who listened when I said I bruise easily and used a butterfly draw to make it easier. Just a prick. Seamless and quick then I walked out to check in for the x-ray where the experience was similar. I hope I can come to this facility again for some future things like mammograms, x-rays, and bloodwork. I would like to permanently break up with Labcorp. Employees here have all been free, friendly and helpful. The quality of care so far has been excellent.

My lab work was scheduled after my visit with the doctor, and then I received a text message advising that the date and time had been changed. Because I have low blood sugar, I cannot have a late-morning appointment. There were also three separate attempts to get my imaging orders sent to the correct location. While I did speak with some individuals who were professional on the phone, all of my imaging requests were routed through referrals, and that is where the process broke down. I understand that end-of-year volume may be a factor, but these issues have made scheduling unnecessarily difficult.

This isn't the first Dr. I've known to leave Baptist for whatever reason and it makes me wonder what's going on there. With all the changes in managed care and increased demands on reporting and documentation and decreased reimbursement, it's no wonder that the medical world is going through a shake up. Even though we were promised that if we liked our Dr we could keep our Dr, and if we liked our plan we could keep our plan, neither is true. Our rates have gone up and our deductible has gone up and now we're having to change Dr's because he can't abide by the changes being imposed on him by Obamacare. I didn't want to make this about that, but it is what it is and I feel like the needs of the few of outweigh the needs of the many. It would have been more economical to simply offer coverage to those with pre-existing conditions or the uninsured through some type of special program than to rewrite the entire industry.

He's been taking very good care of me for quite a number of years now. As I said before, you do not get a bedside manner better than Dr. T. He gets excellent reviews on all the physician and medical sites on the web, and well he should! The only thing i have seen people complain about is that sometimes, you may wait an hour to see him because he is running behind. I never complain and I don't care because when he comes in the room with me, I am all that matters to him. If he needs to sit in the room with me for 30-40 minutes, then he will do it. This is the reason he runs behind. He takes the time to listen to every question you have and he cares about your questions. He then takes the time to answer each and every question you ask and he makes sure you understand everything. Personally, I'd rather have a doctor who runs behind sometimes because he takes the time with his patient, rather than have a doctor who always runs behind and still only spends 5 minutes or less with you. Dr. T rarely has time to take a lunch and I hate to even think how late he leaves the office each evening. I actually just scolded him today and told him he was working himself into an early grave by doing that - he agreed! LOL But he cares about his patients, so he's going to continue putting in those kind of hours. It's also nice to have my doctor walk in and actually KNOW who I am! The man has jokes too, he quite often makes me laugh with some of his witty remarks! :D Scott is Dr. T's medical assistant and he is SO amazing! He is so kind and he'll get to know you also. You won't be just another number to him either. Best medical assistant Dr. T has ever had and the best darn medical assistant I've seen anywhere! Denise is the phlebotomist in this office. Yep, Dr. T has his own lab in the office. Makes things MUCH easier when he needs to check blood and urine! She's really good at what she does. I'm a really hard stick and she gets me the first time, every time, and it never hurts. Like everyone else, she knows me well too and even remembers exactly where my "good" veins are. She's been there as long as I've been seeing Dr. T since 2007. I can't think of the name of Dr. T's triage nurse to save my life right now, probably b/c I've only seen her maybe twice and have only had to talk to her on the phone a few times over the years. But, she too is wonderful. She's great at accessing whatever your problem is and gives wonderful advice! I'd also like to mention Susan, who works at the front desk at check-in and Fay, who you'll see before you leave the office to schedule your next appointment and who will call to confirm your appointments. They are both sweethearts and they both have been there for as long as I've been seeing Dr. T. I think it really says something that so many staff members have been with him for so long! There are a lot of other people who work in this practice that I really don't have much contact with, like some of the women who answer the phones. But I've always had a great experience with every staff member in this office. Zero complaints. I have to leave messages for Dr. T often because he keeps a close watch on my blood sugar readings. He always gets back with me asap! Before the remodel, the office was really nice, but now it is quite lovely. The waiting area is large, well decorated, and has really comfy chairs and couches. Everything is extremely clean! You'll also find free wifi here. Dr. T's office is in the Baptist Hospital Pavilion, so you'll be able to tap into the free wifi offered by the hospital. Bonus! I want to touch on the waiting thing again. Like I said, there have been times I've waited an hour or more to see Dr. T, but this generally only happens when I call in at 8am with an emergency and have to be worked into the already full schedule. It has happened several times with scheduled appointment, but not very often. The average wait time is approximately 30 minutes. But, there have even been times when I'm being called back before I can barely have time to take a seat in the waiting area. Dr. T is an internal medicine specialist, but that doesn't mean he can't be your general practitioner. In my humble opinion, it's always best to have an internist as your general practitioner anyway. To close, I'd just like to say again that Dr. T is wonderful and I promise you WILL NOT find a better doctor anywhere else!

What I appreciate most about Dr. Array is that he always has empathy for your ailment, no matter how small AND is willing to chew you out in a very subtle way if I am not practicing all of the healthiest measures to take advantage of the best physical fitness. The front office reception can sometimes be a bit cold and sterile, which I have a hard time accepting, especially if I am not feeling well. But overall, Dr. Array and his medical staff are phenomenal!
