I decided to visit Ellison Vein Institute after a consultation from another local vein center for a second opinion. This clinic is so patient friendly and they went above and beyond in diagnosing my vein issues and coming up with a plan to target the areas that were of concern. I had my vein ablation procedures last week and I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Allmon and his surgical team. Everything was professional and focused on making sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure. I was given after care materials and instructions on how to keep healthy during recovery. I just got done with my 2 day surgery today. I had the laser treatment and the ambulatory phlebectomy (removing the large bulging veins). The office staff was extremely nice and answered all of my questions. I'm one to ask a lot of questions. They were very patient on the first day when I wasn't taking the medicine very well and was feeling sick. They stopped gave me a sprite and cold rags until I started getting color back in my face and lips. Which that happened twice Dr. Ellison was patient and made sure he got all the veins out even the ones that weren't bulging yet for the nurses to mark. The second day went wonderful. I wasn't sick at all today and the procedure went wonderful!! I was able to walk around right after the surgery. I will be more then happy to get my spider veins done with them after I heal!!! As far as the insurance coverage call your insurance and ask them if they cover the appointment and if Dr. Ellison is in network. After the first visit they will get the coverage and your cost for the treatment before they even make the appointment! read more

Horrible! I had a procedure done Jan 2020 that resulted in a painful and debilitating Staphylococcus Aureus infection at the incision site. The lack of empathy and the follow-up care to this potentially life threatening affliction was unacceptable. I hope that this post brings attention to Dr. Ellison's assembly line style of medicine and prevents another person from the misery I had to endure. If I owned a rat, I wouldn't let them touch it. read more

Excellent customer service, they are really interested in the patients comfort. I was well taken care of during my procedure and my leg looks and feels a lot better after my laser procedure. I had been having swelling and heaviness before which made walking difficult and now I am back to walking everyday. read more

THEY ONLY WANT YOUR MONEY! UNCARING STAFF!I been having problems with my legs and was referred to this office. At the time of the referral I had no clue who I was going to see. Someone from Robert Ellison office called to schedule a appointment. I asked her where I was going that I was new to the area being military, she said oh don't worry everything is in the packet and you'll receive it before your appointment. Day of my appointment came and nothing I didn't not receive a confirmation call or anything. I finally received the packet 3 days after my appointment followed by a bill for 25.00 for a no show appointment I was unaware of this policy nor do they have a signed paper with my name stating I was aware. I called the office 10 times and every time I would ask to speak with the office manager the person would say she is not here or unavailable. Finally after 4 weeks I finally got ahold of the office manager. When i started explaining the situation she said it was the first time hearing of this and if i would have called when i got the packet they could have worked something out. I tried to explain to her that I did contact them after i received the packet and she didn't want to hear any of it. They refuse to drop the 25.00. And didnt even try to keep me as a client. The staff is very uncaring i tried to express i don't have a lot of money, 3 kids and my husband and i share a phone which he uses for work which she verbally attacked me about my cell phone. She was extremely rude to me and didn't want to hear the situation and refused to work with me in anyway. She was not friendly nor kind. They are only out to get every penny they can and do not care if you have leg problems. Save your time and money go somewhere where the staff actually cares about you and does not treat you less than a person because that's how I felt after hanging up. Maybe the Dr is a great Dr but I'll never know because of his choices in hiring a staff that makes him loose customers. read more

I don't know who Ms M that left is that left the other review but she is totally wrong. Dr Ellison is a people's doctor he cares about each and every one of his patients. His staff is top notch. Cookie and everybody in that office is amazing. I had right leg surgery with him to remove some things that weren't too good. A few days after my procedure I had some major pains going on and it was on a Saturday so I went to the ER to make sure I was okay. 10:45 p.m. at night Dr Ellison personally contacted me to check on me to make sure I was okay to make sure that there was nothing that he could do to make me any better. I don't know about anybody else out there but a doctor on a Saturday night, call you personally to check on you it's pretty up there in my book. He's an amazing guy that i have nothing more than the best to say about. If you need then work done on your legs or anywhere on your body I would highly suggest dr. Ellison not only because he is an amazing doctor but he cares and honestly cares.
