    This was what was received.

I recently placed an order online with 1800-flowers to have a bouquet of flowers delivered. Colonial Flower Shoppe received the order to fulfill. I am beyond embarrassed of what they delivered and left in front of my sister's garage door. I order a medium size bouquet for my sister's baby who passed away 4 years ago and every year we send flowers on my niece's birthday to celebrate her. The bouquet received was nothing like the picture or description on the website. Someone from the flower shop called my sister to confirm she received the flowers but it just so happened that my sister sent us a picture letting us know she received flowers. We asked her where are the rest of them? That's when she told me the lady from the flower shop said the bouquet was correct. The lady's response was, since 1800-Flowers takes many fees and delivery charges etc that's all the flowers you get and to next time call direct and don't go through them 1800-flowers. I'm sorry but this is not a good business practice. If this flowers shop does not feel they are getting compensated correctly, they should not take it out on customers who agreed to pay a lot and then get a skimpy bouquet delivered which is completely embarrassing. Maybe they should opt out from 1800-flowers instead of doing this to customers. Attached is the medium sized bouquet I ordered from online. There are 4 different sizes. I made sure to save the picture of the medium. The other picture is the bouquet that was delivered to my sister. If I could give a zero for a review I would.

I received a very disappointing bouquet of flowers for my birthday. Sadly this is not the first time this has happened from this shop. My sister called the shop with her concerns and the owner wouldn't even come to the phone to speak to her. Definitely not worth the $$ paid.

They were very honest and straightforward about what they could and couldn't do. I appreciated their candor. Since the flower supply is challenging right now, not everything that they typically use is available right now. Despite those challenges, they were able to put together a lovely basket to celebrate an important birthday. They were also kind enough to text me a photo of the finished arrangement, so that I would see what they created. Very nice people.

The most gorgeous arrangement Ive ever seen!

I think their pricing is very high and does not equal what you get. Sparse arrangements that do not last very long

I ordered off of THEIR website (not a third party, like Teleflora etc.) On their website I saw a beautiful ficus tree, which I ordered as a sympathy gift for a family member who lost their mother. "Same day delivery" was available, which I chose. My order was completed by 11:30 am, with confirmation of a delivery by "end of day." Their website stated they closed at 5pm. At 4:56 pm I received a voicemail from the owner, Erin, stating that the ficus tree wasn't available, and she couldn't deliver it until Tuesday. I ordered on a Thursday for SAME DAY DELIVERY, so this would mean FIVE DAYS LATER, they would receive their sympathy tree. The voicemail I received did not at any point express an apology or convey any type of remorse for the situation. I wish I could attach the voicemail here, as it was just unbelievable how callous it was. I called back, but they were closed. I called the following morning and spoke with Erin, the new owner. She just restated the same thing she said in the voicemail, again not acknowledging any regret on her part. I asked her why it was that she called 4 minutes before they closed to tell me it couldn't be delivered. She snapped "I have strep throat, I had just come in." I said "you didn't even offer an apology!" She sarcastically says to me "Oh, I'm soooo sorry." I asked if she thought it was ok that a same day delivery would be delivered 5 days later. She replied with, "how is Thurs-Tues 5 days?" I mean...did she have strep in her brain? Because that's 5 days! When I pointed out her being wrong, she then told me she didn't appreciate my sarcasm (I wish I was kidding). If this woman hadn't already charged my credit card, I would have simply hung up. There is so much more that transpired, but this review is already too long. Basically she told me she is very sick with her sore throat, the nursery is an hour away, she's a business owner for 25 years, blah blah blah. She said "What is it you want Ma'am?" I said "if the tree can't be delivered until 5 days, I think you should contact the recipient & apologize for the delay, as well as send a SMALL arrangement for the error." She immediately refused and said I was being completely unreasonable, and she "wasn't going to absorb a cost due to a plant not being available when I want it." Yes...she really said that. So now I had enough and demanded my credit card be credited back immediately. She said it would take 5-7 days. I went nutso at this point and told her it better be credited by the morning. She had the audacity to tell me "that's not how life works." I honestly thought I was gonna have a stroke at this point, as my blood pressure was boiling. Well...the credit was there the next day, so I guess that is how life works. Sorry this is so long, but I had a lot of venting to do. Reminder that this was a sympathy gift for a close family member, I didn't need this grief during that time. Stay far away... I ended the call with "I'm going to Yelp the @*#! out of you." She said "Have fun with that." I did Erin...I did.

I came across Flowers of Distinction and knew immediately that this was the place. I loved the natural, whimsical vibe. Not being from the area, I couldn't tell how close they really were to the delivery location so I called and spoke to a lovely woman named Robin. I told her I was looking for something spectacular and I was particularly drawn to her work. I selected a stunning arrangement called Blushing Angelique, which was $300, but requested no lilies because the recipient had a cat (and wanted to keep it that way.) But when I gave her the address, we realized it was way outside their jurisdiction. I was crushed because the arrangement was everything I'd hoped for. She asked how I'd found them and who they were for so I told her how a friend had been struggling with health issues after a spinal chord injury and then long Covid, so a bunch of friends wanted her to know she was loved. She said she was actually also a spiritual healer and felt drawn to do this arrangement and make a special exception. I could not believe it! I told her I'd make it worth her while and thanked her profusely. She sent a photo of the final product and it was stunning! She also told me that she had poured all her best wishes and healing energy into the arrangement for my friend. I was incredibly touched. She let me know when she was on the way to delivered it and again when it had been delivered. I told her to please charge an extra $50 for all her extra trouble and the extra distance she had to travel. I have not had the pleasure of interacting with a kinder, more helpful person in customer service since I can recall. I wish we had a Flowers of Distinction near me. I'm including a link to a TikTok that was posted by my friend's fiancé because the photo does not quite do the arrangement justice and the video highlights it better. https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZT8FEnD7t/
