I told her how much money I wanted to spend and she said, "no problem " I got lost for about 3 hrs. Came back and Donna made not one , but two beautiful arrangements. She said, "pick the one you like best" How nice is that? This is a small location. Donna & I had a very nice conversation. She's very sweet. She's "old school " and that's a very good thing. I asked why no phone call asking me if I wanted to substitute or change my order and she said well we are busy - it was the week before xmas ya know! I guess an $80 order isn't important enough to them. I have never experienced such rudeness and lack of customer service. I will NEVER use them again, I'm very disappointed and here I was expecting to brighten the day of someone who is going thru a difficult time.

During an already difficult time after the passing of my mother-in-law, a thoughtful friend sent me a flower arrangement to lift my spirits. Unfortunately, when the flowers arrived, they were far from fresh--muted in color, with brown edges on the roses and carnations. I contacted the florist, and they offered to pick up the arrangement and deliver a fresh one. When the flowers were picked up, the delivery person stated they were fresh but I pointed out the brown edges on the carnations and roses that were clearly visible. Despite their promise to make things right, no replacement was ever delivered. Worse yet, when the sender followed up this morning with the owner (I believe the one with the accent) she refused to issue a $91.00 refund OR provide the new arrangement they had promised. It's disheartening to see a business treat grieving customers this way. I expected compassion and professionalism, but instead, I was met with poor service and broken promises. If you're considering using Roma's Florist, Thomaston, I'd think twice--because they certainly don't stand by their word. I sent her an arrangement and chocolates when she came home on February 18, 2023, and I was sending fom out of town in Boston. Margot's did a beautiful job, and my sister-in-law absolutely loved the arrangement. The hydrangeas were so fresh and both my brother and sister-in-law raved about the arrangement and the beautiful fresh flowers, at a time of year when it is not easy to get hydrangeas. Thank you so much for a wonderful job and puttine a smile on her face! I will come back again on other occasions!
