Radiology results are taking weeks, sometimes up to a month, to be finalized. Scheduling prescribed tests or imaging often requires extended hold times of 40 minutes or more, only to learn that appointments are unavailable or delayed for several additional weeks. Specialist appointments are frequently booked out two to four months in advance. The recent transition to a new records system has further complicated patient care. Important medical history and physician notes are often inaccessible, limiting continuity of care and leaving both patients and providers frustrated. This decline in operational performance has real consequences for patients' health and well-being. UPMC urgently needs to address these systemic issues to restore the level of care and efficiency that patients once trusted.

Most are not cared for properly , I have seen residents not get their teeth brushed for months when I got there I brushed a ladies teeth and pulled green goo from her mouth her hair had not been washed in I don't know how long . Not only the care for the residents is awful but the management caring for the staff, I was over worked working 18 hour days and trying to get myself back in school. I was rudely talked to every day, written up for things like reporting to a family about how the resident was not properly cared for (and he ended up passing a week later) . I worked on third and from the moment I started was bullied and picked on to the point that I was afraid to even come into work. The management singled me out and made me feel horrible. Among all that the residence we're not properly taken care of as the girls on third shift would go outside for most of their shift and leave residence unattended not checking on them or taking them to the bathroom. They're Hygiene was incredibly awful. Residents would walk around with unmatched clothes, hair not combed, teeth not brushed and most never even had their dentures taken out and cleaned. I have been working with the elderly for 15 years and never once in my life have I ever experienced anything like this. I would definitely not recommend this place for employment or for the care of your loved ones.
