This company has handled all my pool challenges. They added railings so dad could use the pool. Others didn't dare to drill into the pavers. They smoothly converted my pool from chlorine to salt. This company did a fantastic job on resurfacing our pool. We also had Colonial change our pool from choline to salt water. We love it! Mike and Jack are so great to work with! When the resurfacing of the pool started they were out there everyday checking on the progress. They also replaced our skimmer. The crews were very experienced and did great work. They are horrible!!!....Robert came out to see what went wrong with the whole project he saw right away what a was wrong but then he said he would work with us to make things right and what a joke that was he asked what we thought the price of the pool should be we told him then he looked right at me and said really do you think we are making any money off that price well why ask if your going to say that then he said a price on a heater then when we said yes the priced changed so its a joke it seemed like that only thing he was worried about was us removing the review just the company is a total joke happy to be done with them would never recommend the company to anyone cause it will just be a nightmare horrible experience horrible people *Working with Colonial pool and spa was a nightmare the whole first communication was horrible between Jack and his team no one there was on the same page one person said the liner and paver would be in this day then it changed time they order a liner it was not measured correctly and tried to do a quick fix then fixing it correctly Jack and Matt are never on the same page Jack told us one thing matt did opposite we had a plan for our steps and matt put them in a different place then we had a company building us a pergolas Matt asked the guy when they would be done our company told him two hours and Matt called and lied to jack saying they wouldn't be done for two days Be careful with Matt he doesnt tell the truth i would recommend texting/ emailing i had to go back and screenshot and send it to them to show what they said so make sure you have proof of everything jack and matt say oh on top everything they were supposed to put pavers under our pump to match the patio matt was there he told my husband oh just give the guy and extra 50 i called jack upset it was always one thing after another with this company would never recommend them it was truly a nightmare and i could go on and on about how many things went wrong but last thing i will say for jack claming to be a GM of the store his store is ran really horrible and should be ashamed how things are done specially with Matt and how he speaks and acts towards customers and his assistants at the store never having the correct answers.. read more

We have lived in Fort Myers for almost 40 years. Today Isaac and Luis were here to take care of our pool. They did a great job! They noticed the pump was a little sluggish and they found that the filter was VERY dirty. They cleaned it thoroughly; then they took apart the filter with its coverings and washed that out, too. My husband and I shopped around for a pool company to remodel our 30-year-old pool. We wanted the pool completed by the time our family came in to visit. We needed new tiles, deck, coping, interior pool finish redone, lighting, equipment, and a new look. Jack not only had the pool ready a week early! Jack was also very responsive and answered our questions, even ones we forgot to ask. For example, he explained why the lighting should be on one side of the pool instead of both. In addition, Jack was personally at the job site on many occasions to ensure the crew was doing precisely what we planned. As a result, the team was fast and professional and cleaned the work area daily until they finished. As a result, we have a pool that looks like a model home, and we could not be happier. I worked for Robert Brownlee, Jr. for two weeks. I was not trained properly and was ultimately fired. He paid my first paid check out of office supplies, which is illegal. I have tried to contact me. Mr.Brownlee and he has blocked all emails associated with his business. I do not plan on getting another pay check him. He also adds hundreds to his quotes and makes excuses for the additions. read more

I have been a customer of Colonial Pools for 8 years. The thing I most appreciate is their friendly, helpful customer service and their knowledge about pools. Over 8 years, their weekly maintenance personnel have all been friendly and responsive to my requests. Over the years, their technical team has also installed a salt water filter system, a pool heater, fixed a pool leak and provided parts and repairs for all systems. We are now having our second heater installed after the old one gave out. They provided me with information that was helpful in making a decision about heater brands and will be here to install it within a couple of days of purchase. Not professional. I called and talked to Teresa about installing handrails. She said that I should look at different types of railings. I called her back with the type that I had picked. Not in stock, so I asked if I could order it from a different company and have them install it. I did that and sent a photo. They sent me an estimate with the installation fees. The next day they called me back and said that they " talked" and decided not to install it as I undercut their prices. I told them, that I didn't get their prices. All I got was the estimate for the labor. " Oh, we were going to send that, but didn't" , so now we are not doing the project anymore and have a nice day. read more

I made an appointment for a person at the business to come to my home and give an estimate to install handrails on my new pool. I had even picked out the handrails I wanted at the store. The appointment was made for a Thursday from 8:00 am to 12:00 PM. I waited all day, and no one showed up or called. They apparently are not very honest or just don't care about people. I had them service the pool to remove algae and debris. They quoted me $100 for the clean up. Attach are the pictures of the pool after the work was done. The invoice is $207.26. I emailed them and receive the response from Jill, indicating that she will forward my comment to Pam (I guess the supervisor) to resolve it. I waited for quite a while and receive no response from them. I called them again complaining about the service and again receive the same invoice. I gave up talking to this company and paid them to never see or talk to them again. Be aware about the tactic of bait and switch. Now repair they left me with is so extensive may very well be left with permanent damage.
