The seller recognized me and was questioning if I put the clothing in another section and was wondering where her money was. They were quick to blame me but I had the receipts. The two older women at the counter denied being there when I purchased the stuff. I pulled up the date and they magically remembered. The tag was on their invoice and they said they just never charged me. Told me to pay for it, which I did and tried to charge me more than what it was priced at. I was nice about it but after with the rude customer service and inability to acknowledge their mistake they lost a good customer. Looks like I'm thrifting elsewhere.

Enormous, 2 floor antique store that seems to go on forever…read more The first floor is absolutely jam-packed with little rooms full of various different antiques, furniture, clothing, jewelry, etc. It's awesome. Each "booth" is stuff owned by a different seller, and so it's much like going to an antique show, but without the seller behind the desk to haggle with. Totally fun to browse, and who knows- you may find that special little gift or knick-knack that fits into your home. The second floor is sparse - and creepy. There's one room up there that looks like it's been forgotten. Looks like a "panic room" to me! What did this old store used to be anyhow? But it's a great place - you can kill a lot of time here if you like looking for things with character.

Plainville Commons is a decent sized shopping center built about 13 years or so ago…read more It's located off of Route 1 in Plainville, right by the Wrentham town line. It's located south of the intersection at Route 1 & Route 152, and right off I-495 (exit 14) for Rt 1 towards Attleborough. Main point, it's in a convenient location. While it's not as large as it probably should have been built (especially with the casino across the street now....), it has some decent stores and an ideal setup. The parking lot is large, spread out and perfect for this type of complex. Sometimes a back up occurs at the beginning of one of the closest parking lanes, but it's never too much of a problem. Only complaint with parking is that Chili's NEVER has enough parking. Getting in and out of here is also easy. They recently replaced the traffic light at the intersection of the plaza and Taunton Street, and made it even easier. The flow of traffic is actually surprisingly good and much better than most other shopping centers I can think of. That being said, this area isn't nearly as busy as where most other big-box shopping centers. This shopping center consists of: Chili's Target Stop&Shop TJ Maxx / HomeGoods Sleepy's (or Mattress Firm now?) Panera (and possibly something else I'm forgetting) Good place to stop if you are in the area, or looking for some shopping after winning big at the casino across the street! Only real complaint about the shopping center is that it's so spread out that other buildings could be built to make it bigger, better, and more of a destination. Also, they have a shop inside called Strawberry Moon which has all of the things you didnt know you needed but you most definitely need! Crystals, candles, plants, accessories, and so many smelly goods!!

I bough a candle for myself and one for my daughter! Loved the shop and hope to shop there again in our next trip to CC!!! It's well worth the trip and stop! I'm going to try to text or email her and buy more candles for the rest of winter and into spring !! the layout of the entire plaza is so spread out and detached from one another -- there are at least…read more5 parcels of retail areas that are separated by traffic -- making it too exhausting and even dangerous to walk around on foot (and it's outdoor!), but it's ridiculous to store-hop on wheels. maybe they design it for the "1 destination, in and out" shopping style? if so, then they are quite successful. but even the traffic flow layout it's just plain ridiculous, bordering on hazardous. in an attempt to prevent speeding, stop signs and raised dividers are everywhere, which is fine by itself. but the overall design just makes one feel like they're in a corn maze, making stops and turns every 3 seconds. going from Washington Street to Shaw's averages just about 13 turns/stops. landscaper needs to be fired as well. why are tall grasses placed so strategically that one would almost think that they did it on purpose just to block drivers' sight line for oncoming traffic? not like they have something against car insurance company... maybe it's just me, but for the number of times i come here, that's bc i know there's a store i need/want to visit. with the current layout, there isn't much chance to wander around to "see what's there". you must know where you need to go coming in, and you won't realize that some shops have existed no matter how many times you've been here.

GAP, Bath & Body Works, Hallmark, Hilliard's Chocolate, Talbots, and the list goes on and on. Places just keep closing. And why, you ask. Well, I am almost sure I have the answer. Location. It's in a remote location away from major highways and lots of traffic. Even though a fair amount of people from the local Canton, Sharon and Stoughton area do come here, there isn't enough to make it a destination for shopping, there just simply isn't enough. Plus, lots of the chain stores here are not competitive with their counterparts... Shaw's here doesn't compare to the brand new Norwood Shaw's (that was just renovated), Marshalls here doesn't compare to the also brand new Westwood Marshalls (well, it's ok), and more and more of the other stores people just do not go to. The current list of stores consists of : Starbucks UPS Store Bertucci's Partners Urgent Care (coming soon) Orange Leaf Five Guys Olympia Gourmet Garden Mattress Firm Shaw's Village Toy Shop GNC GameStop SuperCuts Verizon Paper Store Marshalls Chico's LOFT Shoe Dept. Halfway Café Snip-Its Ceramics A La Carte Boston Sports Club Artin Fine Jewelers Elements CVS and a few other shops This place did used to be great when it was an actual mall, and there was actually an atmosphere, but know it's gone with the wind.
