Great experience - super careful regarding Covid, took my temperature before I came in, was the only customer in the salon. Was a little nervous regarding location, but inside was spotless and my stylist was probably the most educated I've had regarding color and technique. Loved my results, she also recommended some products that I just purchased online because I'm so happy with them. Highly recommend. Price also includes blowout, and my trim was the most conservative I've had which was great because I wanted to keep as much length as possible. If I lived in the area I would return! Bonus: I have dark hair and not a spot of dye was left on my head which I absolutely hate. I always leave salons looking like I have a whole new hairline but this was not the case. Anne Tucker truly is the go-to colorist in Wilmington. I have somewhat resistant dark hair from the nape of my neck to my (ocipital -sic-) bone, and I wanted it bleached. Anne did her magic in one sitting without damaging my scalp or hair. Anne loves coloring hair, She studies (and still studies) the chemical nature of color/s and hair. I highly recommend Anne Tucker at Color Master. She spent a long time talking with me about different color options. She analyzed my skin color, eye color, and natural hair color to determine the best shades to use. When she cut my hair, she even took my scalp shape into account so that the layers would fall correctly. She even called me a few days later to make sure that I was still happy with the cut and color! I also love that she continually wants to learn and has taken classes all over the country. Not only have I found the best hair salon and hair color expert Anne Tucker at Color Master Hair Studio, yesterday I was introduced to the most amazing product she is now selling. I was at the salon for my routine hair appointment and overhead some ladies discussing a product that I am most interested in. The product is Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes. It's the most amazing product I've ever seen and a product I'd been on the search for. It was just by happenstance. It was the BEST first impression I've ever had from a product. NO JOKE. Im in loveeeee. This mascara is a BEASTTT. Will use no other product but this! I have short eyelashes, and I have yet to find a mascara that makes my lashes stay and appear large and thick. THIS though... is AMAZING! You need to put this on over your mascara, but once you do, your eyelashes will look like they are fake! (in a good way) I had girls asking me at work how my eyelashes looked so long and it stayed that way all day. You put the transfer gel on, then the fibers. I came to Anne with a terrible cut and a terrible color - even though I had been going to a very reputable salon. I was not happy, so I went online and researched the 10 best salons in Wilmington. After reading about them and their reviews, I chose Color Master Hair Studio because of their glowing reviews and their pictures of clients. When I got to the salon, I have to be honest and say I was worried. The salon is not the slick, modern facility of say an Aveda Salon or one of the other posh salons in town. Well, let me tell you, don't let the humble surroundings fool you - Anne is a master - not only a master colorist - a master stylist. We didn't take before and after pictures, but we should have. I look like a different person from the one who walked into her salon today. I cannot say enough about this woman. She knows her stuff - and she's really, really good at it.
