Once we decided what we were going to paint, we had a small tutorial from the employees. Not only were the employees friendly and informative, they were more than willing to listen to my vision of what I wanted (ombre) and helped me pick out the right colors I was asking for. They have the paint samples on tiles, so you can see exactly what color it will turn out looking like when it's done, which was really helpful in finding the right paint color. Time flew by and I can't believe the 2 hours we were there ended so quickly. It was a fun environment and a place I would recommend for all ages and skill sets.

The owner allowed us to bring food and drinks since we were having a private party. He gave us great tips on different techniques, and made us feel welcome and appreciated. It was only a few days before our works were fired and ready for pick up. We were all proud of ourselves and agreed that we should do it again. SEW YEAH that purchased SCRAP APPLE from Shirley's estate has ruined the reputation of the name! The Sew Yeah owners DO NOT support the quilting community in St. George!!!! When you walk thru their doors you are NOT welcomed into the store or most times even acknowledged you are there! The store does not inspire you with projects that can be made with their beautiful fabrics. You feel like you are walking into a library that has fabric instead of books! Shirley's hospitality and support of the quilting community in St. George is GREATLY missed. Sew Yeah should actually change the Scrap Apple name and not completely ruin the image and reputation that was so lovingly created by the original owner.
