I am new to the area and went in looking up upgrade my Vicking. I had my two sons with me and I as treated horribly. My sons have been going to fabric stores since before they could walk. They stood next to me the whole time. I asked one woman if they carried a certain foot, she went off " looking for more information". After 15 minutes she came back to the counter and started folding fabric again. She was the only worker that would speak to me. I had money to spend but I guess having children with you means 'do not help'. At that point I left. Walking out my 5 year old asked, ' we aren't buying anything?' I said 'not now', loud enough for the two ladies behind the desk to hear me. I didn't want to drive to Las Vegas but it is looking like that will be the plan. Wanted to have a local shop where I could upgrade my machine and get accessories. Not the case here. read more

Beautiful place with lots of fabric of all sorts, shapes and sizes. I am visiting from Dillon, Montana and love to bring home little bits and bobs from every quilt store I stop at. Why only 3 stars? Treatment. When I decided what I wanted to take home (20 fat quarter bundle for $49 - great price!) I asked the lady at the counter if she had any more of the cute little Moda packs (only $4). These are small packs of 2.5" squares and I love to collect them. She showed me she had upwards of 40 if the little packs behind the counter but refused to sell them (they may be special and she really shouldn't) and then wouldn't even ask someone if they were special. Instead of maybe asking, she stood and stared at me for upwards of a minute. The little packs she shows me matched two sets of charm packs already in my stash and I was ecstatic, hoping to add at least 5 of those little packs to what I had. I'm sorry. I thought I was spending money in a store. I didn't realize I was going to possibly buy something that she wanted to really, really keep. I left - without spending a dime. Sorry, ladies. I really wanted something from the quilt store in a different state. Silly me. read more

While visiting Saint George, I wanted to go to as many quilt/sewing stores I could. This one was by far the best! They have a wide selection of fabrics and patterns. Many samples are displayed around the shop. I will be back! read more

Looooooved this store! My Mom and I day-tripped up to St. George to visit the quilt shops. Quilted Works was our first shop and honestly, I could drop THOUSANDS in this store. We got a few yards of fabric, some patterns, and some rickrack. They give you a chocolate when you checkout, and they made sure to enroll us in their rewards program. It is smaller than some of the other quilt shops, but they probably had the cutest fabric I have ever seen. There wasn't a single fabric in that store that I was turned off by. The women working was so sweet and cracked jokes with us as we checked out. Once we get done rolling through this fabric, we'll be back for more! Absolutely love this shop! read more

Modern. Fresh. Friendly. My happy place. This is my "inspiration store". I love this shop and I never leave empty-handed. So many creative samples and ideas that my head swims. Laser cut quilt patterns for appliqué are available for popular quilt patterns as well as in-store original patterns. Their notions are varied and plentiful. Patterns. Books. Samples. Quilting services available. I am from So Cal and work in a small quilt shop that specializes in reproduction and 30s but I visit this store every month or so as I come to SG often. There IS a nice selection, but we tried to stop by about 10 minutes before closing as we were traveling. Not the best time. I get it-but we were turned away. We came back on our way back through. We saw several quilts and pillows on display-but not one of them had a pattern available for purchase. The cutting table was very cluttered, but the gal did cut accurately. Great fabric selections! The worst customer service. Not one person offered to help, I stood at the counter for five minutes. A lot of personal conversations and phone calls. I thought I had ordered a machine foot, called to see if it was in and was told they were just ordering. Have not heard back from them 4 weeks later. (Bought it online) The Ace store around the corner has better fabric and is very helpful. I like to shop local but not when I am treated like I'm interrupting them. I won't be back. read more

I love this store because the fabrics are modern and they change them out frequently. The discount shelves have great usable fabrics. I had a problem with some mis-cut fabric and the owner more than made up for it right away, no quibbling. Everyone here is helpful including the customers! read more
