I went to this salon to get my brows micro bladed. My appt was at 11:30. I arrived at 11:11 and the door was looked. I pressed the ring cam and was told I was too early and go run some errands. So I went bk to my vehicle and waited. I then went bk around 11:22 and was let in. I asked to used the restroom and Lucia sighed loudly and showed me where it was. When I sat bk down afterwards she said she keeps her appts tight so that's why she wouldn't let me in..even though I am clearly disabled and walk with a cane. She put numbing cream on me and let me sit for a good while. She came and got me after at least twenty minutes and then lost her phone and I helped her look for another twenty minutes. She had me call her phone but it would go to voicemail so I had to keep calling and when she finally found it she gave me an attitude and said well I'm never going forget your number and gave a dirty look. I was shocked and said well you told me to call you. She then asked if I signed the forms she sent me. She never sent any forms. She tried to send them and it was another ten minutes until I got some and then a few mins more to get the rest. I tried many times to ask her questions but she shut me down and would repeatedly say did you read the information. Honestly I almost left. I am fifty four and disabled with surgery coming up so I just wanted to feel better about myself and wanted to get my brows done. Eventually she does some measuring and marked the outline and it seemed ok but the lighting is low in the room so I really couldn't tell. I lie down and she begins. I want to say I am no stranger to pain and have quite a high tolerance. This was torture. It was NOT numb at all. I told her this and she replied well this is all we use. My eyes teared up and streamed down both sides of my face and my nose ran so bad I sneezed repeatedly. I asked for tissue and she said no. I really would have left if not for the fact she had already started. I suffered it out. I asked her how it was looking and she again got an attitude with me and said "you sound anxious ". I said no I'm just excited to get my brows done and wanted to know how they are looking. She said of course they look good I'm doing them with an attitude. I am a happy outgoing person and I do not deserve this repeated attitude. I was literally trembling when we went to the counter to pay. She said normally ppl don't need another app but if I wanted to schedule another and pay up front she would give me half off. I said well can't I wait to see how they turn out first then decide from there and she said you can but it will be full price which is $200. I just wanted out of there at this point. I was on fire and a bloody mess. So I finally agreed and my total was $615. I had done research beforehand so I knew it wasn't going to be a pleasant experience but this was so bad between the constant attitude and the pain an zero answers to any questions and then go home and my family said those look terrible and are way off and uneven. I called her and told her this and asked if she could fix them as they look bad and she said no. I know from research that sometimes they will need touched up but there is no fixing this. One can't magically move an eyebrow up an eighth of an inch. Also my right brow is a quarter to half an inch closer to my nose than the right one. It's been several weeks now and the lines are thick on the areas towards the nose and all the other areas are not lines but smudges that make it look dirt or like a bad pencil job especially on each end toward the hairline..which is also uneven. So in short a bad job. I tried to call them as one cannot go in as they keep the door locked. No answer. So I politely messaged them and said I wanted to cancel my second appointment and would like a refund of that appt and would really even like a refund of the entire amount at this point as they look bad etc etc. They kept trying to argue with me saying I had my brows done before so they looked bad etc etc to which I said I have never had them done and they knew this. Then they said I bled heavily and that can cause lack of pigment and they have me on surveillance signing the forms and they will not cancel my next appointment..this was said several times. This is what I will say. Lucia was rude and got short if asked any questions. I've never ever been to a salon that keeps the door locked at all times in a good area. The lighting was poor and I was not numb at all. The only time she was nice was when she was trying to sell me another service then she would smile and be nice. I would NEVER recommend this woman or this salon to ANYONE. Let alone anyone disabled. I had decent brows but thin from tweezing. My family says as long as one is far away they don't look too too bad but up close there's no fixing them. Even ppl at Casal's were shocked. I had other professionals agree they don't look right. The best there is, the best there was, the best there ever will be!!! This place is absolutely phenomenal! I was just recently in town in need of a spray tan. Color Vanity staff was super friendly and professional. Only service I wanted was the Organic spray tan. Personally, Trying to take care of my body is a must and I routinely spray tan, so this option at Color Vanity is a no brainer! Thank you to the owner Lucia, for hiring such a phenomenal staff! They were able to schedule me in the very small window I had available. I couldn't be happier with the results! One of the longest lasting spray tans I've ever gotten! New Review: Run far away from this establishment if you care about your dignity. I came back to update this review from 5 to 2 stars due to numerous communication issues with both the staff and the owner herself. Recently, I was made to feel like an annoyance for following up on a request after not hearing from anyone to schedule an appointment because apparently the owner is too busy with opening a new location to return messages which I didn't know until I was talked to in a condescending manner whilst following up on my request to schedule. Lucia is expensive because she is good at her craft. But I would rather spend more money on this service elsewhere than be talked to as if I am anything less than human ever again. Old review: I love this salon. I am complimented constantly on my lashes and brows - they look so natural and not fake! there's a saying: "good tattoos aren't cheap and cheap tattoos aren't good". the same logic applies for services rendered in this sa because you get what you pay for. So I have been going in the Cryo tank and COLOR VANITY IN BOARDMAN. I have promoted this place and sent clients there. Had Covid in December so could not go to my sessions. I have 2 paid sessions left. Today I go in and the owner notifies me that I need a note from my doctor and still have to pay another $199.00 to come back in and get the ones I already paid for. What do you all think? I'm not blasting this business just saying what happened. read more

She will shove things down your throat that you never thought you wanted or needed and she makes you feel that you do, and when you say yes and walk out the door and realize what you just did, it becomes buyer's remorse. The lashes are 120.00 more than what I usually spend, and they fell off after 2 weeks. Their fills are also 100.00 and apparently not a full fill, you have to pay more for a fuller fill! The place I normally go to is only 40.00 and they look identical to when I got them done originally when she is done filling them. I wasn't going to say a word, but I had to miss an appointment so they charged me 50.00. I could see maybe 20-25.00 but 50.00 is beyond outrageous. They're just money hungry, and now I'm going to let people know. Buyer beware. There are places much better for half the price or less. read more

I've been using the service here for over a year and after reading the reviews that were posted completely shocked me! I have never had a single issue with can elations, charges, or the staff being "rude"! Lucia and her staff are second to none. My girl friend, who was Miss Maryland and in multiple music video and has multiple titles said she has never been to a better place as well! Her eye brow service has lasted over a year and looks amazing! Her lashes lasted what seemed like 6 months and still look beautiful! She has been going to the appointments but has had multiple issues and she was not charged the 50% that Lucia should've charged but instead reschedule at a more convenient time! I scheduled an appointment with Color Vanity because they had a bunch of great reviews and were a bit more expensive than I have had in the past so I figured they would be better. My appointment was at 11:15am. I arrived 2 minutes late at 11:17am. I was told to wait and then they brought out a form for me to fill out. I then sat back down and waited. It was 11:25am when she came out to grab me. She barely said a word to me other than "I'll be doing your lashes". We went back to the room at which point she told me to get up on the table and the proceeded to talk to her receptionist, who was also in the room, about some event or plans for the day and weekend. Eventually the receptionist left after about 10 minutes. Now the time was 11:36am and the tech/owner asks me what I am looking for. I said a Classic more natural look and she said "what do you mean" "do you want it longer in the middle or outer" I said well what do you think based on my eye shape and she didn't say a word. The entire time I was receiving my lash application I smelled the chemicals/glue. She used tape to tape down my lashes and put the glue on my tape so it was right up near my eyes and nose. My nose and throat burned so bad. When she was done I was so happy to be done because I could finally breathe. She ripped off the tape and didn't even think that she was hurting me. She handed me a mirror and didn't even give me a chance to really open my eyes. I told her to give me a second cause my eyes were burning. She just stood there looking impatient. It was not what I wanted. It was so dramatic. she finished within 20 minutes as it was 11:57am when I sat up. A brand new set of lashes took her only 20-25minutes! My lid was drooping they were so heavy and my eyes still burned. As I was checking out I was pressured to leave a tip. I got home and couldn't even sneeze without hurting. My lashes were poking me and they were glued to my lid. I couldn't even scrunch my face or wink without pain. After a closer look I saw only fans were applied and as they came out I saw it was fans of 10 lashes. That is all she used and I told her I didn't want that. I also have glue on my right corner of my eye clumped together and stuck to my eyelid. I am in a lot of pain and even more so when I move my eye. They had me pay $200 for this and it was not even worth $20. I reached out to tell them and have them remove them for me and there has been no response at all. I have texts and pictures to prove it. I am disgusted by their service, disrespect, and lack of skill when it comes to lashes. I have had applications of lashes before of varying different styles and all have taken at least an hour. Now I am going to go to a different professional in order to get an actual Classic Set and have these removed. read more

The solon told me I had until a certain date to cancel a "cryo subscription" and I called that day to cancel. They already charged my card and WOULD NOT refund the money nor did they care to even look into it. They are crooks and they have terrible hours. I booked an appointment for the first time, although it was more expensive than I've ever paid. I showed up 5 min. early. After 20 minutes, I asked if it would be much longer. I was told, "no". Another 5 minutes and Lucia came out with another client. She never apologized for the delay and didn't seem to be in a hurry to get to me. As I waited....her client after me came in and said she had some questions. I was finally taken back a half hour after my appointed time. I was told I had to sit for 5-10 minutes to have my lashes cleaned. So, I had to keep my eyes closed. I heard Lucia with the client after me, speaking. I was left on the table, while the client after me, spoke for at least 15 minutes! By the time I was seen, 45 minutes after my appointed time, I had maybe 15-20 minutes spent on my fill, because her next client was going to be filmed. So, $100 for a 15 minute fill, that was 45 minutes late. No thanks. I had better results and service from cheaper salons. Pass on this one. read more
