We lost our house in the Marshall Fire and spent close to six figures with Atlas and their…read moreinstallers on our rebuild. Atlas' salesperson (Tommy) ordered the underlayment for our floor. This underlayment is not recommended by the manufacturer (Portercraft Floors). Frank LaCava installed the floor incorrectly and now it will need to be replaced. Nelson Melara installed our tile and the grout is soft/crumbling and will need to be replaced. Nelson is unresponsive and does not stand behind his work.

We purchased several slabs and had them shipped, then we actually completed the fabrication ourselves for a kitchen, mud room, and 2 bathrooms. (DIY was much easier than you'd think, honestly! The hubs is a former builder so we are experienced DIY-ers, however, we did the job with a standard circular saw and a belt sander to round the edges. This included precise cutouts for 4 undermount sinks. As the name indicates, soapstone is softer than granite making it easier to DIY.) Since moving back to Denver, I've visited M Teixeira's showroom twice for a couple small projects and am about to oversee another kitchen remodel with soapstone. We wouldn't think of going anywhere else. Anthony is awesome, no nonsense, low pressure - very easy to work with - and the selection is fantastic. Regarding soapstone in general, I HIGHLY recommend it! It's so much easier to maintain than marble (which we have currently) and granite or concrete (both of which we've had in previous homes).

The only downside was that they schedule templating quite a days out (3 weeks from when I picked my slabs) and then fabrication takes another 2 weeks, so it took a total of 5 weeks. When installation time came, they got everything installed, but left quite a mess in the backyard. They also had to come back a few days later with a bigger cutting bit for an pop-up outlet hole that they couldn't do on installation day.

What's worse is they won't take responsibility for thier own mistakes. Tried to throw me under the bus with my customer. They're take offs are far from complete and they pass the buck on personal responsibility. They can't even unload hardiboard siding they don't have the equipment , they claimed to have told me they couldn't deliver, without me supplying a forklift. But the truth was Joe never told me he couldn't deliver the product, his dispatcher did. But he then he said he'd figure something out. Then they both threw me under the bus to protect themselves for whatever reason, I couldn't care less what they said about me. But I thought we were good and worked things out. So as an act of good will I sent another house over to bid with MY OWN material take off and Joe sent a passive aggressive email to all my subs, and supplier's etc and in the email thread saying he wouldn't supply for THIS CONTRACTOR. All of this unnecessary passive aggressive behavior over a small disagreement started OVER A FORKLIFT. They claim thier customer service makes up for thier higher prices. But that is not so. My experience with Builders first source BMC UFP They have far superior customer service and material take offs that are always within 10%.. I just walked out of builders first source with everything I need and was treated fairly and with respect, as the way I am accustomed. Side note the owner of County line seemed reasonable and fair. But wouldn't fix anything.

B&G were very flexible in scheduling both the measuring appointment and the installation appointment, which I especially appreciated with my busy schedule. There was one point in the fabrication process where Mel called me to inform me that my countertops were actually going to require the use of two slabs of stone, which was different from the original quote. She worked with me to make adjustments to the size of my kitchen island so that we were able to keep our materials and costs at just one slab - which made a huge difference! In the end, we think the island turned out even better with the slightly smaller dimensions. The countertops were installed flawlessly, and they even managed to keep our longest countertop to one piece with no seam! We have an older home with some definite challenges, and they navigated those challenges extremely well. We are beyond thrilled with our new countertops and would highly recommend Bath and Granite!

I am in love with the Silver Sands. I bought glass plank silver sands, plank silver sands, 12X14 silver sands tile, and ledgstone. I think I had 3 pallets by the time we placed our order. We also used China Black in the guest bath and I love it. I've been getting a lot of compliments on the Silver Sands. This was an excellent place to buy tile from and I love my tile selections.

We had grass removed, paver walkways installed and rocks were expanded (about $15,000 in total)…read more Overall, the work performed was done very well. The paver prep and installation was excellent. They had to cut pavers around two curved concrete areas. The paver cuts for this were outstanding. The rock they initially installed, did not match our existing rock. They indicted the existing rock would be matched the best they could, but it really looked bad and had small gravel pieces within it all over. Our existing rock was from 3/4 inch to 1 1/2 inch in diameter. After contacting the owner about this issue, she made a special trip to look it over and agreed it did not match. The owner fixed the issue by removing the rock that was installed and bringing in rock that was all 1 1/2 inch thick and a better color match. We really appreciated that the owner was willing to fix this for us at no additional charge. We have worked with some businesses that are not willing to correct their mistakes. This company did and went above and beyond to fix it. We highly recommend Rocky Mountain Snow Removal and Landscape.
