The two men they sent were very kind and professional. They were very quick and did great work. They added extra support and got the counter top very secure in no time. You will walk into an office trailer. That's just fine by me; I came for stone, not for ambience. It is also true that (unlike every other stone shop I contacted) Elite does indeed have the "stuff" to cut stone to requested dimensions. That arsenal of tools is headed up by a two monstrous-looking hydraulic presses that slice the rock sheet as though it was sourdough bread. The staff was friendly, helpful and cut the rock to my dimension request in about 30 minutes. Price was certainly fair. I'll give them "two thumbs up"

I'm a former contractor, moved to Denver area in retirement. i still manage to find a lot of…read more projects to do, and usually boulder Lumber is my first stop. i love specialty places, and nowadays, what with the home Depots and Lowes plants crabbing the act, dedicated lumber yards with great hardware--nails and screws sold by the bag in bulk, per weight--is a real blessing. i had found the help a bit uneven, but usually quite good and most comfortable in dealing with knowledgeable builders and tradesmen--which may be offputting to some. They carry portable power tools, glues, and stains, that sort of thing, and standard building fir as well as interesting dimensions of woods like redwood and hickory. For me, this place is a comfortable, old-fashioned oasis with quality woods and service. Keep it up, men!
