They insisted on a 50% deposit before scheduling so I gave it to them. Then I was scheduled about 3 weeks out. A week before the install the man who said he was the controller called and said The cost to do what we had agreed to have done and gone over repeatedly was more and he wants to cancel. We contacted this team about a very challenging shower layout. There just isn't much room in this old house and a swinging glass door was not an option. The estimator spent quality time with us discussing options and we finally agreed on having two rolling glass pieces that met in a corner with two stable pieces and a crossbar supporting the whole structure. We discussed several designs and trade-offs. Justin personally called me to talk through the design before sending the proposal since it is more complex than the typical shower glass installation. The installation team was very protective of our 100+ year old house and wood floors. As you can see in the picture there are rubber bumpers to prevent the glass roller doors from damage and seals in a number of places to prevent any water leakage. The installation crew did not leave until ensuring I know how to take care of the glass we installed. This installation completely changed the look of our bathroom and is exceptionally practical. I was pleased with the whole process- even though it took a little longer to get the quote (but every company we spoke to had that issue due to the complex nature of the job). Twice we had Colorado Glass and Mirror come out to evaluate a window situation in our new condo. The first time, they measured all the windows very carefully and made recommendations, but we realized in the process that we probably needed whole new windows, not replacement glass. So- we went with a window replacement company, not a glass company-- but then, still had some sliding doors and French doors that needed either new glass or to have the tint coating removed, we didn't know which. Justin, from CG&M, came and assured us the existing glass in the door windows is fine, it's the same glass as that which is in our brand new windows, so we can just get the tint removed, no glass replacement or door replacement necessary. What I'm saying is that Colorado Glass was extremely helpful and professional, even though we ended up not needing their glass services. They could've recommended something we didn't need that they could provide, but instead offered great advice and based on that show of ethics and generosity, we'll highly recommend them and use them in the future for any projects! read more

Last week, I called this company (on behalf of my daughter) for service. My daughter had an issue with her old existing wrought iron security door. The top portion of the frame fell out accidently breaking it as well as the glass. After several calls we found Colorado Glass & Mirror. They treated my daughter exceptionally well. This is a bit late but I just had to write a review for this company. A few months ago, my self-supporting glass shower did a "spontaneous" blow where Friday night, one of the panes shattered into a million bits scaring the crap out of me. Perhaps more scary was the fact that the remaining panes were just sort of hanging there and I wasn't sure they would stay upright without the busted pane. I called a bunch of companies to see if they could first "stabilize" the remaining panes and then replace the broken one. None could get to my job until the next week, except Justin. Justin is the man. He actually came out that very Saturday and helped me clean up the broken shards and stabilize the remaining panes. He didn't normally work Saturday's but since he felt I was a bit freaked out (which I was), he did. He made my day. I've never seen this kind of dedication to doing a good job. Needless to say, he ordered a replacement pane (saved me a bunch since he only replaced what needed to be replaced) and had his crew do the install in a week. I had shopped around numerous providers in the area and found CG&M to be a step above the rest. They were very conscientious of providing the best service and product as possible and making sure we got exactly what we wanted. They were very easy to deal with and their prices beat the competition hands down. Even when it was discovered a that solid seal at the base of the shower door was proving difficult, Justin and team delivered a speedy solution. they were to install a glass shower door, mirror, and replace 3 pieces of glass in our windows. twice they cancelled the day to install the shower door and the mirror on the day they were going to show up, once 30 minutes before and the 2nd time after they were to already be here. I had to take 2 - 1/2 days off of work only to have to sit at home waiting. The 3 Windows to be repaired never happened. First they said the installer quit and took the glass with them , so they said it wasn't their fault? Then they had to come to re measure the Windows, another month and 2 or 3 more cancelled appointments to install that never happened. Today they were coming to install only to show up and they said one of the Windows broke, I told Justin to install the other 2 only to have him say they couldn't or wouldn't, they want to do them all at the same time. This whole experience with Colorado Glass & Mirror has been a nightmare. Started 8/2 , today is 10/18 and I finally gave up , paid them for the shower door and mirror and told him to forget the glass , which he was happy to do. I will never deal with them again. read more
