Had a horrible experience with United Glass. When I purchased my home in Sept the original owners had to replace some glass panes. The owner of United Glass Rich came out and did a measure, at that time I told him to not to order as I may be interested in ordering actual replacement windows in place of the panes. He refused to listen to me and illegally was talking to the sellers agent to discuss MY order and refusing to listen. Hung up on me multiple times after I became angry that he was not listening to the client me. At no point was I asking him to do anything wrong or take a sale from him, I have still not received my windows because when I did call to get things done he refused to call back and also didn't order anything for over 30 days. In talking to his son I was told this is how he deals with stress and just didn't do anything! I have been hung up on by the office manager and the owner and at no time did I deserve that kind of customer service. They were always getting the sale and I was the actual client, old school work ends up failing when customer service can make a world of difference. My realtor is offended and has never seen a vendor treat someone like this over such a SIMPLE thing. I was not asking for anything out of the ordinary and was costing them nothing. A failure al around. His son had to call me because Rich the owner wouldn't do it and also again I waited another week to get windows so I can have the installer out for a second time to finish the job which couldn't be done on time due to United Glass not even placing my order as they were told to do. I have waited of 2 months for 3 windows. They also have not offered any discount or compensation for me waiting on their failures over the last 2 months which added more insult to the entire experience. I just called this company this morning, February 22, 2016, after a window on my house shattered over the weekend. When I called, the office receptionist sounded overwhelmed and briskly told me they could give me an estimate to repair, but that they were 6 to 8 weeks out for scheduling the actual repair. In other words, she was discouraging me from using this business, unless I wanted an open window for the next month and a half to two months. Not a good sign. read more
