We added a custom walk in shower during a basement remodel and needed a floor to ceiling glass insert installed. Santa Fe Glass was the most responsive of the glass shops we called. Most shops wanted to give us an over the phone quote without coming out to measure and 50% deposit on the glass, which seemed crazy. Santa Fe Glass sent Dan for the measurements and he used precision lasers in every direction to ensure the glass would be installed perfectly. Dan was amazing, detailed, professional and a pleasure to have in our home! They emailed an estimate within 24 hours and were affordable. We signed a contract, they ordered the glass and called us as soon as it arrived to schedule the installation. Communication was easy and flowed seamlessly. Eric was our main contact with questions and scheduling. My husband is very particular and called them after installation because he wasn't pleased with the u-channel line up. Eric was incredibly responsive, came out right away and as soon as he walked in the bathroom, knew immediately what was wrong and how to fix it. The VERY next day, they sent Weston and Caleb to reset it perfectly. Weston and Caleb were very professional, clean, and respectful (my husband happened to be working from home and on calls when they came) and reset the u-channel and glass expertly. Their website states that no job is too big or too small. I called and asked for a quote, giving them background on what work I was looking to have done. An appointment was scheduled for a day or so later. The estimator came out and I went through what I wanted done, at this point there were no objections raised at the on site or during the initial call. Nearly a week later I receive an email stating "Aftere talking with my boss we are going pass on this job sorry for the inconvenience". I thought no job was too small? I responded asking for further information and to this point (over a week), I have not received a response. I was going to have them install a new window, replace a damaged sash with new glass where one was damaged and install new glass in another couple of windows. All things they said they could do. Maybe they have more business than they can handle, but they pride themselves on reputation and this reputation is no bueno. read more

I called and spoke to a Mel asking her if this company repaired bent glass for a china cabinet door. She assured me they did and told me to bring to door down, they would measure it and get it done!! My husband drove 9 hours (we live in Yukon OK) just to be told they do not do this!! I asked her why she would give out wrong information to me because I explained to her he was just there and was told they did not deal in bent glass, her excuse was "I guess we don't deal with that type of glass." She said she did not see him and maybe he went to the wrong place. She asked if I would like to speak to someone else. Getting my hopes up that maybe he did go to the wrong place, so I said yes. This guy then comes on the phone and tells me he did talk to my husband and he did tell him that it was something they did not do. I told him I was very upset because I was assured by Mel to come down because this company did work with bent glass. I had made her aware of the distance and time involved but she assured me they could fix my door. I told him she needed to learn how to do her job correctly so this would not happen again to somebody else. He became very angry and told me not to tell him his employees didn't know their jobs! I told him they didn't because my husband was proof! He started to scream at me saying she was not incorrect. I must have misunderstood her because they do curved glass but not bent glass. I told him he was an "A-hole" and he also had poor customer service skills! What is wrong with this company? How hard is it to just apologize for a mistake instead of trying to gaslight the customer into thinking they are the ones who made the mistake. I only used the word bent so there! Reason for taking off a star was timing/communication: I was originally quoted 3-4 day turn around, never received an update as of day 5. I called and they said it would be another few days. Again no response by the company and I had to reach out myself to ask about the status a second time, which was extended again. In the end it was 2 weeks since drop-off which was much more than promised. Asked for a small discount given the delay however none was given. Overall still happy with the outcome, but would have appreciated more communication and consideration of timing. Pricing was fair - my flat piece of tempered glass was $135. read more

Booking an appointment for an estimate was super easy and we booked as soon as we got the quote. Jason and Chandler came out to install the glass and they were delightful! They worked super fast and kept the bathroom clean while doing the install and explained to me any aftercare that was needed to keep the glass looking good. I received three estimates from three different companies to replace 4 40 year old basement windows. One company refused to work with me because I refused the upgraded windows they quoted me. The second glass company offered two free windows with a minimum purchase of four however the two windows were astronomical and I could not afford their services and quite honestly don't know how they stay in business. I called Santa Fe glass, they came to my house and gave me a fair estimate with no frills attached and no sales pitches. We had a party and someone I just met walked right through a 9 foot wide floor to ceiling plate glass room partition in our mid-century modern house. This was original plate glass installed in the 60's when that type of glass was still legal. The guy could have been cut to ribbons but miraculously was just cut up a little bit. Cleanup took three hours. I have a two year old so I couldn't just leave the gasket in the frame with bits of glass in it, so all Santa Fe had to work with was an aluminum frame that was sort of tweaked and from 1960, and they put a tempered glass pane in there without much effort for what I thought was a really good price. read more

We are so thankful we found Santa Fe Glass. A piece of ice bounced up and broke our basement window. They were really helpful when I called to see how much it would cost to replace the glass. I was shocked how reasonably priced the replacement would be. They were very flexible in dropping the window off before they officially opened. They had to do more work then they anticipated to get the glass into the window frame, and the quoted price was still what they charged. We will absolutely go back here with any glass needs we have. Very disappointing service. I called and asked them about replacing the glass on a patio table, and they said it would take 5 days to complete. I dropped it off Monday, and asked it be done by Saturday. They said they would try to have it done by then. After receiving no updates throughout the week, I called them Friday to inquire about the status. No answer, and no call back. I drove to their facility on Saturday, only to find out they were closed for the weekend. Posted hours stated they are open on Saturdays. It would have been awesome if they had told me when I dropped off the table that their posted hours were changing for the holiday weekend. I got a voicemail this morning (monday) saying "we're sorry, we don't know when the table will be done." I sure wish I had chosen another company to do this work for me. I am a new dance studio owner and had these guys transports my mirrors to the new space. It is only a 10 minute drive and when we arrived they told me of the biggest slabs had broken during transport. They said they were not liable for mirrors broken in transport and were going to charge me $450 to replace it. So not only were we being charged an arm and a leg for the labor of them picking the mirrors up and installing, they were going to charge me for another mirror! I had carefully found these mirrors on craigslist and purchased them 75% off normal cost. I was able to safely transport them from three times the distance in a U-Haul. These guys are not professional and this could have been avoided if they were driving carefully and watching out for speed bumps and potholes. Not recommended! read more
