So in my stay at recover Colorado I had many good experiences…read more I also had many bad. The counselors yelled at me during class told me I was a whiner and several other incidents. I was supposed to be tapering off suboxone the taper, the provider Sharon put in place was not going to work. I told her from the beginning 2 nights ago. I suffered severe withdrawal symptoms from suboxone. The staff drove me to the emergency room where a physician gave me suboxone when the provider sharon found out doubt about this. Her way of fixing it was to stop my suboxone altogether , so sadly , today , I have to leave , so I can go in suboxone , because anybody that's been on suboxone knows withdrawal symptoms are unbearable when I told the provider Sharon that all I could think about was using anything to make. The withdrawal symptoms not be unbearable. She basically said, too bad, I don't want to hear what you have to say, I'm taking you off the box and so no taper, no nothing. And I have to leave suffering. If you want to suffer, then I recommend recover Colorado. If you don't , then go somewhere that the medical professionals namely , the providers , will not put you in a position of suffering. That is not to say that there was shining lights. The director Brian seemed compassionate and caring as well as one counselor Lindsay.\n The rest of this place, not counting or including the staff at my house. Because they were great. I lived at the Irving house.Although at the end everybody just wants me to suffer , I just want to use it's the only way I cannot feel the pain of the suboxone withdrawal, so thank you very much Sharon, and everyone else who was part of them, I wish I would have never came here. It was a waste of time...

As someone seeking support for my mental health, being exposed to this type of behavior was particularly triggering. It contributed to feelings of anxiety and distress, which undermines the purpose of attending a therapeutic space that is supposed to feel safe, respectful, and supportive. Danger! Go in to get help and leave in a way worse state of mental health…read more Been going here for quite some time and my therapist was changed more than 4 times because of high turn over rate. Don't bother talking to Lisa who is in charge, she will patronize you and leave you feeling just as unheard as your therapist does. Then threaten to put you in the hospital if you say anything like you reached out to CRC to get help. It took more than 6 months to get an appointment with the psyche Dr. The whole time waiting while seeing a therapist that has no idea what she's doing and rolls her eyes when you talk during session. Trust me, if you need help don't go here because you will leave in worse mental health than when you came in. I do not know how this place is still in business with as much damage they are doing to the people in the community.
