The entire team made me feel very safe during the entire learning process as all my needs and concerns were heard. They handled the COVID19 pandemic perfectly making sure we all felt safe. I was thinking of getting SCUBA certified for a while and the opportunity presented itself when I spotted an online deal. I met with Samuel and he gave me the open water manual and I set a date for the classroom training. After reading frequently and taking the quizzes I was ready for the classroom and the pool training. Kent and Samuel take the extra time to ensure you understand everything. If you do not understand they will keep at it until you do. The pool sessions were great and I learned a lot. This really prepared me for the open water dives. We went to Utah to the homestead crater and the water was great at 90 degrees. They were very thorough in their explanation of what to expect. After the open water certification I was ready to go diving at the location I wanted. I was very apparent Samuel and Kent took great pride in their training. There was no rushing and they would tell you if they did not recommend that you dive due to a condition or experience. Highly recommend them for your experiences! read more

I am a certified diver and have been waiting for the day when my son was old enough to get his certification, so I have a full time dive buddy. I signed my 10 year old son up for the Discover Scuba class, and was blown away! To be honest I was expecting them to put the gear on, go under for 10-15 mins, and say well there you go if you like it sign up for certification. That was not the case at all, they were in the water for 90 mins plus. They covered basic diving skills and really worked on making him feel comfortable under the water. I don't know if the class size was typical for a Discover Scuba, but it was basically 1 on 1 the entire time. I found myself kinda jealous and wishing I had signed up to do this with him. The instructors were great, and I highly recommend this course to anyone thinking they might like to take up Scuba. I will be signing my son up for PADI Certification very soon, and continuing my dive education with them as well!! read more

We just spent a weekend at the Blue Hole with Kent and Samuel for certification. They are both phenomenal teachers and people. Their patience and instruction was top notch. They took the time to address the needs of our family on an individual basis and adjusted their teaching styles accordingly. Their knowledge is unparalleled and their persistence on teaching safety and technique was much appreciated. My boyfriend and I were needing to get PADI open water certified for a trip to Iceland. We shopped around a bit and finally saw CSDA and signed up. Not only was it the best price that we found but also so personalized and small to where we got the attention needed to make us feel comfortable in the water doing the drills that were needed of us.
