I was recently in Denver from LA to shoot a corporate video. I was having a hard time finding a…read moregood photo/film rental place in the area until I came across Doxica Productions on yelp. I was honestly surprised at how nice and helpful Nathan (the owner) was. He's incredibly knowledgable about photography and film, extremely accommodating, and just a cool dude. He helped me get everything that I needed worked with me and was also WAY CHEAPER than the competitors in the area. The other places in Denver I found either were quadruple the price of here or didn't have much to choose from. However, Doxica had everything that I needed for my shoot. I rented some DSLR's, a lav, transmitter/receiver, zoom audio recorder, Kino-flow kit and some C-stands (and they have a lot more to choose from). All the equipment was in pristine condition and he went through everything with me and explained how to use the sound equipment that I hadn't touched in years. I also forgot to add in C-Stands for my shoot and he threw them in for free. Then he gave me his cell phone number in case I had any troubles, to call him (I couldn't figure out the receiver and he answered and helped right away.) This was hands down the best rental house experience I've ever had (LA included). I don't normally do many Yelp reviews but I felt obligated to after having such a positive experience and hope other people do too and go here for their production needs. I'll definitely be back next time I shoot in Denver. Friendly service, great equipment, cheap prices, and a local business. No brainer.
