Started in November 2025 to contact the billing dept. 7 times I punched the key to have the call me back when it was my turn. As of today, I have never received a call back. Just spent the last hour and 40 minutes on hold, I was #11 in the que, never got to talk to anyone. Went to the Colorado Urology office this morning, they could do nothing but sent an e-mail to have someone call me, still waiting. the Dr. care has been very good, but I have changed urologist offices and no longer have to deal with Colorado Urology or Advanced Urology PLLC billing departments. I hope I eventually get my $10.01, I paid twice, back, if not, a lesson learned. read more

Trying to get ahold of anyone in this billing office is nearly impossible and infuriating. Waited on the phone over an hour at least 5 times. When I was finally able to get ahold of someone, I would be told a manager would get back to me to help address my questions/concerns and then I would never receive a call back. Physicians are not compassionate and performed a procedure that I later learned was completely unnecessary. read more

I went to colorado urology 6 months ago. When they started the procedure, I found out the second process was not working and the machine was down. They scheduled me for second time then when I asked if the machine was working, I was told that it was not necessary and no, the machine is not fixed. I decided to cancel my appointment for the work and no results not done. They collected the money from my insurance( which they were not entitled to) and then they keep sending the deductable bill for me. Every time that I try to call Colorado Urology, I keep holding for a long time and can't talk to anyone. I was sorry that I ever went to this practice. I'm putting this in for their Hale Parkway branch. They use one call center, perhaps in a different country, to handle their calls for all the metro denver branches. You cannot get the actual office receptionists, only the call center, never the actual office. It's maddening. Four calls in ten days and NO ONE WILL CALL YOU BACK!!! read more

My 80 year old mother had her knee operated on last week. As a result of the anesthesia she developed a serve urinary track infection. which required her to have a catheter for a week. The hospital recommended she go to Colorado Urology to have the catheter removed. My mother made an appointment one week in advance to have it removed. The day before her appointment they called her and said we made a mistake we do t take catheters out in the afternoon and said they could not get her back in for two more days. Seriously this is a 2 minute process that they made a mistake in booking. Am I crazy to think that they would should find a way to get her in on the day promised. read more

Practically medical malpractice in the making. Call center says multiple complaints similar to mine, no Dr ever calls back. Leaves you in severe pain, lacks bed side manner and being equipped with proper knowledge and guidelines by the American Urology Association when it comes to lyptotrypsy and UTI's. Will push you in making bad medical decisions for profit, without proper knowledge of current health conditions of patient. Took months to get surgery scheduled. Told will check my scans, but have never provided me a scan, ua, meds dispersed in time. Constant run around, neglect and soon to be tort complaint shoved down thier disrespectful throats if they keep it up. So much for Office manager calling me back. Now the reviews start, while I lie on my bathroom floor in severe discomfort and pain with dual stents and a disability that henders me going out in public a.k.a emergency room by myself due to being a survivor of a random act of violence that left me disabled. Sorry, but not sorry. The people need to know for there own safety and health. And I provided multiple opportunities to make right before this review. God bless all! read more

I actually go to Colorado Urology at their Lone Tree facility. I have been going there for years. I have seen both Dr. Sorce and Dr. Sarram, and have found them both to be absolutely brilliant physicians. They're both incredibly smart, highly skilled and wonderfully personable and sincerely amiable. Further, they're wonderfully attentive to your concerns and are deeply commited to providing the utmost in personal and professional care. I could not be happier with them, their entire staff and everyone associated with their clinic. It's simply top-notch and expertly managed. read more

My husband and I have POA for my FIL and this practice is not worthy of 1 star. Their communication style is either NO communication or confused communication. Each of the 4 times he's been in the ER in 8 weeks I have called and asked for the DR. or even the PA in some cases to call me back to make sure I understood what the course of treatment was I was pretty much ignored. My 89 year old FIL would tell us that no one had come by from his doctor's office and I later found out from a charge nurse that another Dr. from the practice that my FIL does not know or recognize had been charting in his file. So either he does not come by to do rounds or he obviously has zero idea in how to introduce himself in a very loud octive (since hearing aide batteries had died). My FIL has been seeing doctors from this practice for years, however that will change. I urge anyone that has older parents or spouses that use this practice to change practices. The office staff sucks too as I have had calls disconected and no once calls back, the person I ask to call me back does not and IF someone does I have to explain the WHOLE story all over again. I am very patient the first couple of times and then my temper tends to level up my voice. I have alot on my plate and after waiting for a while to even reach someone to then have to re-explain my self 1-3 times it is ridiculous. read more

Plain and simple....find a different urology group because Colorado Urology is not for anyone. I arrived 3min late (well within the 15min grace time allowed) and spent almost 45min in a waiting room (not the lobby) I'm sorry but as a person who pays for private insurance and with a busy schedule time management is invaluable for business of this nature to exercise. Not to mention "A Smile Goes A Long Way". Just a suggestion. Oh and my insurance better not be billed for this consultation because there wasn't one! read more

This office's customer service is horrible. My husband arrived at appointment-bladder full as instructed. He was given a tablet to fill out and asked for co-pay. He tried to pay, but they would not accept" cash" and were very rude about it. He was told to go and get exact change He never got to see his Dr (Dr Sarram). His primary care Dr, highly recommended him. I wonder if the Doctors know how their patients are being treated prior to getting to the exam room. Harreal B. read more

I was sent there after an ER visit. I was specifically advised by Nichole to give my EKG to her directly. I went an got one and when I went to drop it off, I was advised by the front desk person to leave it with them, even after I told her about my instructions. I did leave it and never heard anything. After 3 days I left a message and got a voicemail from Mary apologizing and assuring me she faxed everything over to the Kidney Stone Center, The she said she would refax it and call me by the end of the week. Dr. Jonathan Seidlin is an urologist at this group. if you are looking for a caring and sympathetic doctor this is not the provider for you. I have given him my concerns about procedures and was basically told it's not a that big of a deal. Also, this office is so busy to get any type a response back is almost impossible. If you would like someone who is understanding to your needs and will make you feel comfortable, this is not the provider for you. He makes you feel dismissed about your concerns and fears. read more

Dr. Geoff Ledgerwood of Advanced Urology is phenomenal!!! However, the management group that runs this company sucks. They are alway asking for personal information for the software program that doesn't apply to your medical treatment. What does a colonoscopy have to do with a urinary issue? This management group is lazy. They will have you do everything for their software program. Then it take on the average 10 minutes to answer the phone. Saying that its is not a normal day. The only thing that is not normal is the lack of personnel to perform the job. Clearly they have told the Doctor's that they can improve their income but at the expense of their patients. Dr. Geoff Ledgerwood is phenomenal but Colorado Urology sucks. Don't waste your time with them. read more

This review is for the mgmt./customer service aspect of Colorado Urology. I have yet to have a phone appt as mine was canceled the same by the Dr. who was stuck in OR and could not make my appointment. In order to reschedule your appointment, there is no email or online appointment options. You have to sit on hold for 30+ minutes to get a person who immediately hangs up on you. Dr. Geoff Ledgerwood of Advanced Urology is phenomenal!!! He was able to treat me for an issue with my prostate. Upon his great examination, he was able to find the cause of the issue, which was in an area outside and around my prostate. He was easily accessible between the Aurora and/or Parker locations, he was able to direct me to the right doctors to treat my issue, and I have been constantly getting better with his help. I really don't agree with a lot of the reviews listed for Advanced Urology because Dr. Ledgerwood has been completely knowledgeable about my problems and has been a great help to my health. I highly recommend him for any issue that requires a urologist. BK read more

Worst surgical experience of my life. I got a vasectomy on a Friday, and it was as painful as everyone's afraid it will be. They injected me with numbing shots, but not enough, and it felt horrible. They continued instead of just doing more numbing shots, unlike a friend of mine at a different clinic who got extra numbing shots until it was painless. They sent me home with no painkiller prescription and suggested Tylenol, which did as little as you'd think (again unlik the aforementioned friend who got sent home with enough to make it an entirely painless recovery). They give you a number if you're having a lot of pain, so I called Saturday to try to get some pain killers, and they're closed Saturdays :) For your sake, never come here. It's not worth the risk. read more

My husband had his vasectomy done at the aurora location and though the procedure went well patient care afterwards was terrible. My husband had a "rare" complication, we believed he ended up with a hematoma. I say "rare" becase that is what everything online says it is from what we can tell about his symptoms. But if it's such a rare complication why would the dr office be so flippant and unconcerned about it. Almost treating my husband like he was making it up. My husband tried to call about still having pain a week after his procedure and they just said if it gets worse go to the er or get an appointment on Monday (it was a Friday afternoon when he called). He called Monday, left a message, and unfortunately missed their call back. When he tried to recall and left another message they never reached out again. So he never got a confirmation that it was a hematoma or not. Should a patient really have to beg over and over to be seen for peace of mind? In my opinion this is a poor way to treat a any person especially a patient that is experiencing pain. I am thankful he is slowly healing and the pain is subsiding, but what if it was worse. They would just let him suffer or have to see a stranger at the er about it!? Not impressed with their out patient care. read more

I would highly recommend Dr. Damian Sorce of Advanced Urology. Dr. Sorce performed a no needle, no scalpel vasectomy on me in August 2014. The procedure was much more comfortable (as much as something like that can be) than I anticipated, as was the recovery. Dr. Sorce was timely, professional, friendly, and most importantly highly skilled. I would recommend Dr. Sorce without hesitation for any urology needs. read more

I went into the ER with a kidney infection and kidney stones. Was in the hospital for 2 days where I saw Amanda which I believe is Dr. Source's assistant. She decided she couldn't do a stent or laser blast the stone and sent me home to pass on my own. She prescribed antibiotics but no pain meds. I am in the worst pain of my life. When I called to have her call in pain meds, they insisted that I make an appt to be seen! I literally have been seeing this Dr for the last 2 days and was discharged without pain meds less than 24hrs prior. Why would I need to make another appt to be seen?! They were very unsympathetic and unaccomodating on the phone, offering no other solution but to be seen when I was seen less than 24hrs ago. My sister is an RN, my other sister is an Interventional Radiologist, her bf is an anesthesiologist and they cannot believe I was sent home without pain meds. No wonder this office has a 2.8 star rating. read more

Lisa who answers the phones is very rude. I've been struggling to find a urologist who accepts my insurance. On top of my condition trying to find a Dr is a challenge. I called what seemed like two separate practices. On my second call she very rudely told me no. She went as far as to say you know we have 7 locations (obviously I don't) and let out a hysterical laugh. I don't understand what was so funny. When I asked her name she hesitated then said it and let out the same laugh. I don't understand what was so funny or why she was so inconvenienced by a phone call that lasted less than a minute. Guess she had better things to do with her time. I found it discriminatory as I have Medicade. I guess she found that funny too. Maybe if I was in better health I could work full time and afford full coverage insurance. It's a shame that someone who is looking for a specialist dealing with a complex issue is subject to people who have no compassion. read more

Dr. Sorce was great but his staff is unprofessional and unresponsive. They do not return calls they can't find records, they mis-read the chart and the Doctors orders and they don't listen to voice messages. They totally screwed up my prescription order and they charge and extra $15 to get an authorization from the insurance company that they ordered the wrong medication and wanted another $15 to call and change it. You cannot talk directly to the doctor, unacceptable! read more

I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Nobody deserves the terrible treatment I received from the doctor and staff. I am just lucky I had a surgeon who operated on me prior gave me the name of a surgeon who was able to do the surgery I needed and successfully as well. Nancy Huff uses the word "Dr" in front of her name at Advanced Urology. She is so rude and totally absent of any compassion Towards her patients. I saw what she really was before she operated on me and literally ran back to the surgeon who helped me . He was appalled at what she did. I don't even want to give ant star to this place. All of you people at Advanced Urology should be ashamed and sorry at yourr terrible treatment of your patients.
