Got there early, around 1:45 and waited. There was a woman getting a tattoo while I was waiting and the tattoo artist made sure he was holding conversation with the woman he was tattooing, but also me, which was pleasantly surprising. Once Nicole finished the two people a head of me, she had me come back to the piercing room and she took care of switching out my tragus stud and put in a hoop. She talked to me about cleaning it, how long it would take to heal, and what do to if I notice a bump or if it gets infected. Let me tell you, Nicole knows what she's talking about and she is so kind. She made sure I was all good, had no questions, and that I knew I could reach out to her for any reason. I had a very personal tattoo that I had wanted done for quite a while as a part of a healing journey I was coming through so I booked an appointment with Mike Miller at the shop. The shop was very comfortable as far as the atmosphere and the staff was awesome. Mike did my tattoo which was a spine tattoo and it turned out so beautiful I couldn't be happier! Additionally, conversation and the overall experience during the time I was there was comfortable, easy and very welcoming. Since my first tattoo there, I have returned three additional times to have tattoos done that I had set aside until I found a tattoo artist that I really liked; Mike Miller is that artist. He is very knowledgeable about placement and design and steered me into the right direction and drew up the perfect sketch for me. He is an amazing artist! It's a small shop but they do a good job enforcing the social distancing; everyone wears masks and they sanitize their stuff between clients. Now on to the actual tattooing- day of, Neil and I went over our expectations and he was very thorough in making sure the tattoo stencil was the right size and we toyed around with placement options.
