Others around us, locals, were being charmed and served quickly and professionally. We were treated as if we were nothing of value. Dinner was the worst pasta I'd had in Italy. By the time we left I'd had it. I'm sure some people get good meals there. We are very respectful and kind to all servers wherever we go so there was not call for this.
