I ordered and bought a new Integra from Columbia Acura. The whole buying experience was a cut above any other dealership I have worked with before. This is the sixth car I have purchased from a dealership. In addition to those six purchases, there are five other dealerships that I have just walked away from because they were so bad. The sales people at Colombia Acura were refreshingly straight-forward to work with. There were no markups, junk fees, hour-long sales pitches, or other shenanigans. Just a respectful, clear, and concise answers to all of my questions, and a simple ordering and buying experience. I've had my Integra for about a month now. I love it. I was entering in my purchase information into my maintenance tracker and realized that this is the first dealership purchase where its been a month and I still feel like I got a fair deal and I am happy with the purchase experience. My car received a full maintenance service ($333) on 7/22 from Columbia Acura, and it is now in the shop for another service ($440) on 9/19. The car just "died" at the gas station, and apparently it now needs a full break service and battery replacement. I bought my car from this dealership and has been maintaining my car through here. When I shared my concerns, the service manager (Allen Williams) was dismissive at best. According to him, battery can go bad instantly and break can get soiled with "dirty Cincinnati roads." Unbelievably irresponsible! I will not bother with this dealership anymore and go somewhere else for future services. Why do I bother with "dealer services" with high price tag if all they are going to tell me is "anything could happen?" They should have caught both break AND battery issues 2 months ago when I had my car in their shop for their $300+ service. read more

They want $2000 for a timing belt replacement on a 2004 MDX. That is such a rip-off. I'll never buy another Acura again. Hell, my car's not even worth that. When I first bought my MDX, the brake pedal felt a little soft. I took it in for an oil change and ask why the pedal felt soft. Instead of telling me the brakes were fine they replaced all of the brake rotors and brakes. Or they said that's what they did and collected the amount from Acura. The car had 8000 miles. I had called earlier to find out what the oil change cost and they told me $50. So I had that done. It was the reason I was there. When I picked it up they wanted $120. I told them what I was told on the phone and they asked me who I talked to and I didn't know. I guess if I had known they would have denied it and called me a liar. I ended up paying $90. Twice what they quoted me. I hate that place. I'll never go back. read more

I choose to drive much farther to the Superior Acura in Fairfield for more comprehensive, less pushy, and timely service. I went to the Columbia Acura multiple times and always had ridiculous issues come up like outrageously high quotes, missed issues, pushy sales, and at the time (this may have been resolved) no loaner car services. read more

Buying a 2017 MDX was a breeze, getting through to the service department is next to impossible. The receptionist says they're busy, takes my number, but no one calls back. It's happened on three separate occasions. The car was way too expensive to have such a poor service department. They need to learn from Lexus or BMW. read more

This place was actually a great service center for me. I have a really old (99) Acura Tl and I needed service on a Saturday. I called and they said they wouldn't be able to look at the car until Monday morning, but I could drop of my car and pick up a loaner until they could check it. I went to the dealership and they had a brand new fully loaded TL waiting for me as a loaner, they checked and fixed my car on Monday like they said and overall it was a great experience. read more

The Service Center people & everyone else I talked to there over the course of a couple calls trying to get a service appointment were really rude. Also, when I asked how much just an oil change would cost was told "Well, it's never just an oil change so you will be charged more." Makes me think that they will try to find something wrong with my car, even if there isn't. I only wanted new oil put in since I'm about to make a really long drive & like being proactive. I f I could give Acura a ZERO I would. First took my Acura rdx2017 in for a routine oil change and was taken in a timely fashion. When they were finished they came out and said they found codes on a diagnostic they performed so they went ahead and fixed these. I said alright not knowing what they were but trusting the service man. That was my first mistake, my charges went from a routine oil change of about 60$ to 565$. Nothing I could do at this time since whatever it was ,was fixed. I'm a 28 yr old girl and felt like I was majorly taken advantage of. And on top of that they told me my rear not front breaks were needing to be replaced for another 300$ I said not at this time. I talked to others said breaks at 3mm was not bad, so I took car to a neighborhood garage when they called me later in the day telling me no need for new breaks. This is a lease up in July2020 and won't even need breaks then. Acura service should be ashamed!!!!! I'm sure what they did fix did not need to be done either. We all know they make money on service so lesson learned. DON"T EVER GO TO COLUMBIA ACURA. read more

Looking to but a new Acura MDX, emailed about one they had in inventory. Received back the most indiffernt email. Basically stated the list price, less a small discount stating it was $1000 over invoice and I had to buy in 3 days to get the deal. Also mentioned that they were very busy and that I needed to call and make an appointment first. Then Emailed Supirior Acura in Fairfield; got a nice friendly response with 3 different deals ( much better, buy the way). Just picked up my new MDX at Superior today; was treated like a king! Strongly recommend that you go to Superior, much nicer and Cheaper that the arrogant Columbia Acura. read more

I recently bought a 2017Acura RDX from Columbia Acura. After paying for it, and the license plates attached, the polite, and friendly salesman paired my iPhone running iOS 11.0.3 with the car. The contacts did not download properly. Short version.....the salesman knew this was an issue when he sold me the car. He did not inform me of this problem until after I took the vehicle although it didn't work properly when I tried making calls with him in the car. At that time he told me it was a little finicky. After taking the car and trying to make calls multiple times , re-pairing the phone with the car multiple times , and researching, it became clear this was a widespread issue with Acura. I spoke with the salesman the next day. He told me he was aware of the problem. The salesman intentionally misrepresented the condition of the car. I spoke with Columbia management. They apologize for the lie and say they do not know when, or if, this flaw will be corrected. Needless to say based on my unfortunate experience, I would strongly advise against buying a vehicle from Columbia Acura. read more
