I have been trying for months to reach this business by phone, and have not had one phone call returned, despite leaving a couple of messages. I finally decided to try reaching out through Yelp. I thought that I'd finally made some headway, as shortly after filling out the form, I received a response with a list of their services and their prices. But it turns out that was merely an automated system response. Where it gets worse is I responded with the service that I would have liked. . . But crickets. Even though Yelp showed that my message was "Read". I gave them a few days, assuming that they were just busy. But I can't believe that a business can be so busy as to not provide at least an acknowledgement. My final communication was reaching out to thank them for their initial automated response and mentioning that I assume they have no availability. And again. . . crickets. The final straw was the notification that my message on Yelp had indeed been received and "Read", yet still ignored. I really wanted and tried to support this women-owned business, but I am extremely disappointed in their lack of communication. Reply to Business Owner's Response: A quick search of my cell phone's call history shows that I did in fact call the correct number. The screenshot below shows that I have been trying to reach out to you since May 2025. And if you look closer, you will see that each of the icons are outgoing calls. Not one call back was ever received from you, despite the voicemail messages that I left. Additionally, I still have my landline, so a couple of calls were also made using that phone number. However, I don't feel that it's necessary to provide a screenshot of those call records. After my last call of October 28, 2025, I finally reached out to you through Yelp in November 2025, which leads us to this review. Thank you for your response to my review, although I wish that I could have received a proper response outside of this forum. Good luck to you in the future.

When making the decision on who to use for PPF you don't really understand everything that goes into it, there are so many different brands of films, there are multiple ways to install it and there is important steps that need to be taken throughout the entire process and nobody explains everything to you better than John at SJ Paint Protection. I called the shop looking to get a quote on my Tesla Model S Plaid and who answered the phone? The owner of the shop and the guy that's hands on with every job that comes through the shop, not some secretary or front desk person. Talking with the owner John the first time was incredible, he made me feel at ease and confident that I was calling the right place immediately. John took the time to explain everything to me in complete detail, he gave me realistic expectations and truly showed his expertise from the moment he answered the phone. John provided me with a fair quote for a full matte ppf wrap and ceramic coating over the phone and I booked pretty quickly after speaking with him. I brought my car directly to him after taking delivery and he met me after hours so it could stay in his shop over night before he started the job the following day. The car was completed that week quicker than expected and John kept me up to date on the progress daily with a few teaser pics here and there. I came to pick the car up two days sooner than expected and on a Sunday when the shop was closed. John went over in detail how to maintain the film and coating and really went above and beyond for the entire experience, my car looked absolutely incredible. Unfortunately 3 weeks later someone crashed into that car and it was totaled, I got a new Model S Plaid and didn't hesitate to take it back to John again. This time he wrapped it in a color change PPF and blew me away once again. There are many other shops out there I could of taken these cars too but I know for a fact I wouldn't have been nearly as satisfied as I was with SJ Paint Protection, great work and great people are hard to come by these days, thats a guarantee when coming here. I will recommend this shop forever, don't make the wrong choice and go somewhere else.

This is highly recommended as you want to protect your major investment, especially the model S and X, as they come from the California plant, which has a different regulated paint specifications! Like many people, I wanted to find a place closest to the dealership, so that there would be no paint chips on the way there. After finding AODetail, and reading all their positive reviews, and even how the owner responded to the only negative review for someone doing a last minute request on New Year's Eve, I decided to call and talk specifics with the owner, Nick. He was AWESOME from the very first conversation through the entire process! His prices were reasonable and his experience was invaluable. I had some ideas as to what I wanted and which products and we discussed pros and cons of each. On a few occasions, we discussed possible options and rather than try to make a quick buck like many do, he recommended honestly against them as they added little to no value at a higher cost. We talked about his customer service and business practices and philosophy and how it closely aligned with mine when I had my own business. He is a very friendly, patient, down to earth, and honest businessman. He is also a perfectionist, which I appreciate as I am one too! I could not be happier with the outcome, the process, the cost, the owner, the staff, the product choices, and ultimate customer service! These days it is extremely hard to find this level of customer service anymore. I wish more experiences were like this one.
