I'll never work with 'big banks' again…read more BUT - the requirement to execute 8 debit card transactions/month in order to earn ANY interest is absolutely idiotic. When I moved to Astoria I opened accounts here and transferred a very large sum of cash. After two months noticed, NO INTEREST. Then I read the fine print. So I moved almost all the money out to another CU that pays interest. But I keep my accounts here in order to do local transactions. Super friendly 'tellers'. Lovely clean lobby. Many local branches (I used the Scapoose branch to get a cashiers check). This Astoria branch has a superb change counting machine for members - quickly counts your coins and issues a scrip so you can deposit to your account. This branch also has two drive up ATMs. I hope they come to their senses and change the rule on interest, in the meantime, I'll keep the bulk of my money elsewhere.

I requested someone go out to ATM and check. I was refused that service. I upped request saying I could not move vehicle until ATM was checked. Answer from TLC : "Ok, we will tow your vehicle." Now, it is nearly impossible to connect with our credit union by phone. The BillPay customer service is terrible. Three months ago a payment of nearly $500 was made from our checking account that should not have been made. We have been trying to get that payment back during that three month time period. We have called BillPay customer service at least six times and gone to our local credit union branch in Tillamook two times in attempts at getting the funds returned to our account. While the tellers at our local branch are nice and friendly we seem to get no where concerning this return of our funds. Yesterday when we called the BillPay customer service number we were finally told that we would receive a check for our missing money in four to six weeks. This is completely ridiculous for us to have to wait more than four months to have funds of nearly $500 returned to our account when it never should have been taken out of our account to begin with. Fibre Federal TLC BillPay needs much better customer service!

I've been with Fibre Federal for almost 4 years. With 3 different accounts. After some time went by…read moreI noticed that I was being charged 30 dollar overdraft fees. The money was being paid out of my savings, yet they still charged me overdraft fees. I called, and the reimbursed me for 2, and said they would set me up for overdraft protection. (Literally just moving it from my savings). Fast forward to today. I was looking through my account and again notice I'm getting these charges. I call, and the overdraft protection was NEVER set up. And they only offer 2 fee reversals despite their employee dropping the ball. HORRIBLE SERVICE AND THEFT!! They have charged me 30 dollars on top of each transaction that simply was paid him my savings. NOT ONE TIME did I have insufficient funds!! CROOKS!!
