I purchased a 2023 Audi A4 from Columbianaw Ford in April 2025. I was unable to travel there so needed to conduct the transition over the phone until delivery of the vehicle. As is similar to an above complaint, I asked the sales rep and his manager if the car had any accidents and was told very clearly that it had not. Upon delivery of the car it was clear that the info they provided was false and the sales rep informed me that their dealership had, in fact, body work done to the car but did not paint the work because it would have cost them too much. The finance person did everything possible to obfuscate the actual interest rate and bank fees, which was not clearly shown until delivery of the car. His explanation of the rate difference, when questioned, was suspect at best, which is likely generous. Lastly, the car was delivered with only one key, which was never mentioned prior to delivery. The sales rep texted me during the delivery that he would provide me with a second key. After two weeks and only when pressed, he said "we just don't have the power to expense something like that unfortunately." Extremely poor experience dealing with Columbiana Ford. Sold Columbiana Ford a 1994 Ford Mustang. The salesperson told me he was buying for his brother so I accepted less money for the car. Who doesn't want to do something nice for a sibling? We drove an hour, through pouring rain, to take the car to them. Salesperson comes to me and says "Front Tire Won't Pass Inspection in PA". We want to deduct $300. At this point I just want to head back home. I agree, because I keep thinking he's buying for his brother. So the next day I see the car on the dealer website. I reached out because I felt that the dealer took advantage of me. Salesperson says my brother drove the car and it wasn't fast enough. Genuinely floored by how rude the general manage Joe was. My parents purchased a 42k Cadillac over 3 weeks ago. They were told the sunroof was being repaired and it would be delivered in 3 days. After 3 weeks and countless phone calls it turns out the Columbiana ford mechanic fried the entire electronics system in the car and they have been trying to cover it up. We discovered this by finally talking to the local Cadillac dealership. My parents have been very stressed about this entire ordeal. When I tired to talk to Joe, he immediately began interrupting me and was EXTREMELY unprofessional, arrogant, and rude. He eventually hung up on me. My parents have been making insurance payments and waiting on this car for almost a month. The entire dealership doesn't answer the phone. Nobody will give the owners name. I am currently hiring a lawyer for my parents because this has been so gross and horrendous for them. What an unbelievable experience. Some of the most horrendous customer service I've ever experienced. Everybody involved should be absolutely ashamed. There is no reason that buying a car should be this stressful. There are many other dealers where you will get better service and much less headache. Entitled dealerships like this one with salesmen who got an inflated ego from the pandemic vehicle shortage need to go out of business. A week later he called and said the car was done! Wow, what a difference in employees. By no means should this female be management. The 2 gentlemen in service were polite, kind and helpful. Brendan was my sales man and he was super helpful. he worked to make sure I knew all my options in getting a car and which would work best for me. I felt he was very honest and someone I could trust. extremely disappointed in the sales and finance department. I went in to discuss possibly trading in my car for the loaner car the maintenance department gave me. spent 2 hours in there before they were closing and was told they would work on the finance part of it the next day. I spent all day without anything. called and left 2 voicemails, not one call back. called back again around 5 in the evening and was given major attitude from Josh the finance manager who chose to argue with me that not all my information was submitted When in fact it had been submitted. So he said he would start working on it then, it was 5:00 never heard another thing. It's been 2 days and I have not heard one thing. I will never go back. Not for service, not for sales. Would give 0 stars but that is not an option. FINALLY posting about my unfortunate experience with Columbiana Ford. I say finally because it has taken me quite some time to realize and come to the conclusion my issues with Columbiana Ford will never be resolved. (Poor decision on Columbiana Fords part). I would 10/10 NOT recommend Columbiana Ford to anyone. Not a single person that I dealt with back in April of this year is there anymore..and there were several. Adam, JT, Andrew, Ted, Stefan, the list goes on. After countless attempts of trying to get my concerns addressed only to have my calls not returned (wonder why) I was able to find out the OWNER of Pillar Automotive, who owns Columbiana Ford, CDJR of Salem, and others, MATT WICKWIRE. So. I contacted him only to be beyond disappointed and shocked by his lack of customer service and professionalism. He was literally more concerned on how I got his name and number than discussing my concern on how his company handled my purchase with them. He advised to ONLY contact him via email briefly explaining my issue and abruptly hung up. I emailed him as instructed and his response to that email was that any further contact needed to be through lawyers. I periodically still check Columbiana Fords website on their staff and a few weeks ago found out there was new management.. and I was hopeful. But.. again.. another let down by Columbiana Ford as current GM Tom Mortimer has yet to return any of my phone calls from several weeks ago. I have ALL documentation, such as emails, phone call recordings, receipts, sales docs, contract docs, voicemails to prove my situation with Columbiana Ford is 100% valid and honest. I hope that whoever buys a vehicle from this dealership, has a better experience than I did, and that their vehicle is actually reliable and works. Unlike mine purchased at Columbiana Ford. As of 9/28/23.. I commented on a post of Columbiana Fords on Facebook, briefly stating my issues with the dealership and a person by the name of "John John" told me to "stay off his posts" and blocked me immediately after...which only continues to show lack of empathy, customer service and professionalism Columbiana Ford has. read more

I was on the way to a night shift that ran from 5:30p to 6:00a in my company's the F-250 Super Duty. Just south of Lisbon, the lights on the dash went out and the truck lost its power. Since I live here in Columbiana, I asked the fleet company to let Geary's tow it here (they originally wanted taken to Canton and then Salem). Even though it didn't arrive until closing time that night, the service department had the parts in stock (an alternator and battery) and I was able to drive it, instead of my personal vehicle, to work the next day. Jeff in sales is great so are john and hillary in service. However their service manager mike makes this place somewhere to avoid. Most unprofessional experience ive had in 30 years. I will stop there because he may just have been having a bad day but that shouldnt be my problem. I purchased one car from this dealership and used to take all of my service there. I have since moved on due to their inability or unwillingness to retain service managers and service advisors. I've had to start over too many times with different people. This suggest to me that Columbiana Ford affords either a poor working environment or mediocre pay. Perhaps both. An oil change should NOT take over one hour if you have an appointment. The waiting room is cramped and one is deluged with "salesman chit chat" from the floor that I have sometimes found unprofessional. It is not a relaxing experience. read more

I brought my f150 here for simple oil change and tire rotation. One time I had it services for a new tire and it took two times to bring it in. The tire didn't come in . when it did I asked them to put in a new battery also. When I got home I discovered a smaller battery was put in. Had to go back in. They said they replaced the small size battery and showed me the one from my truck. It was not the same battery, it. Was old and corroded. My old battery was the original and looked brand new. The only reason I wanted a new one was it was 6 years old and worked fine. They lied to me. And were untrustworthy. I will never go back there again. They seem to have part time mechanics who are not paid very well. I am willing to bet they put my battery in another f150. This is why people don't trust dealerships. I should have reported them to Ford Motor. I think I will. I've told everyone I know to avoid Donnel dealerships! read more
