This means a complete loss for me at this conference. My only recourse was to start calling Audiologists in the area and hoping for a solution. I had to have my conference roommate make the call as I can't hear anything on the phone. "Come on in anytime and we'll get you taken care of." What a relief! I was there within an hour with dead Oticons. The good doctor there (sorry I didn't catch your name, I'm deaf, haha!) had me test one in a charger. It worked! He's lending it to me for the time I'm here. Who does that without charging an arm and a leg? I was blown away by the generosity! The good folks here genuinely want to help. They saved my week at the conference in seminars and hanging out with old colleagues. My hearing is so bad I thought about just hanging it up and getting a return flight home. I cannot thank you enough for your kindness and trust shown to a complete stranger. You didn't have to do this but you chose to help. WOW!

I asked a close friend who has benefited from hearing aids for two decades, and he enthusiastically recommended Dr. Katie Breithart. Boy was he right! Dr. Breithart is clearly quite skilled and she certainly made me feel both comfortable and confident I was getting the right solution for my needs. After a thorough hearing evaluation, she then took the time to talk to my wife and I about our observations, my lifestyle and how that might affect the kind of devices chosen, and answered a slew of questions. Then and only then did she recommend a specific solution. I was able to try on demo models to confirm fit and functionality, and walked out with a great solution that day. In two weeks, just as promised, my custom hearing aides came in and I exchanged the demo models for my own pair. Dr Breithart carefully programmed them to my hearing tests, and then made minor adjustments based on my in office experience. Net result, after three months I have my hearing back and I often forget I am even wearing my hearing aids. I know my needs will continue to change, but I have Dr. Breithart on my side, and that gives me great confidence.

I highly recommend him to anyone who thinks they may have hearing loss.

While I waited for my appointment, there were fresh-baked cookies sitting on the coffee/tea bar and comfortable chairs to sit in. I met with Dr. Megan who patiently explained what they could do for me with my tinnitus and hyperacusis. I learned things about my condition that no other doctor could tell me. Megan was so patient, kind and informative. After receiving a very thorough hearing test, I was fitted with hearing aids that are meant to help me not be anxious or as aware of the noises coming from inside and outside my head. My sensitivity to noise started right after a head injury and have been debilitating. I now have great hope that in the future, I will be able to live a normal life going to restaurants, supermarkets, concerts and church, movies and more. Thank you, Sound Relief.

Well, I never got go follow me out. No one called to confirm my appointment, as I made the appointment well in advance you would think they would. I had put the scheduled appointment down for 8:30... So I came to my appointment at 8:00. As a new patient I knew I would have paperwork to fill out. I was not greeted with a hello, instead it was a eye roll and you know your appointment is not until 9:00 am right. In all my life I have never been scolded for being early to an appointment. Sour taste in my mouth with that. But off to filling out the paperwork I went. When I had completed my paperwork I took it to the front reception and she asked for my medical card i asked if I could mail it to her. She said no I could not and that I would have to leave and reschedule as they don't see patients without the medical card. I had my card. I did not have the printed card. After dealing with her I then felt with the office manager and found her to be as unhelpful as the receptionist. All of this because they dropped the ball communicating with there patients that you need to bring a printed insurance card. I also asked if my insurance could send the card since I was so early there was time but they seemed so disinterested in finding solutions instead of focusing on being unprofessional. There lack of being able to effectively run a business became my issue. I asked for my paperwork to be returned and will take my business to someplace that will care about me as a patient and a person not just a dollar. Let me tell you I left and bought a stranger a Starbucks to right the universe and erase there bad attitude from my mind and not allow people like them to ruin my life...

I hope moving forward, you'll work on improving that part of your role. It was very frustrating too wait over an hour just for a follow up visit. The front office girl kept saying we need to see the Audiolgist, which we did not, we seen her last visit there , which was out first visit. She was very uneducated on how to run the front office- seemed like she had no clue what was going on. I wouldn't recommend this office to anyone. I was surprised as my Aids are out of warranty. Diana Combs the Audiologist at the Littleton office on Coal Mine avenue wanted me to bring my aids in. I though my Aids were becoming un-useable but that was not the case. Over time Aids are effected by moisture from the air and being in contact with our skin. The Aids absorb this moisture and it effects the function. Diana cleaned both pair, changing gloves and wiping down the Aids and the box they came as she worked.
