I had a terrible ear wax build up that had gotten so bad I was almost totally deaf. I found this place through a Google search. They got me in just a couple hours. The lady who cleaned the ear wax out was so nice and it didn't take long at all. She did such a great job. I can hear so much better. It was $80 and worth every penny. Update to my review from yesterday, I wrote my review on Sunday afternoon, I get a call first thing Monday morning from John Molina the owner yelling at me telling me weather I want to admit it or not my mom is in cognitive decline which she is not. Then he never let me respond and he hung up on me. . The office is supposed to support the hardware they give to their patients would be my thought. My mom had questions about how it works. Do not go here this doctor is losing it and he sounds psychotic from our phone call. You can read previous reviews where he told a 37 year old she also has dementia. what?????? read more

Some kind of bedside manner would be useful. My daughter came in for a hearing test, where they also give cognition tests. You, Brendan O'Toole, so-called hearing associate, obviously know nothing about how different people process information. My daughter has severe OCD, and processes information, depending on many factors. I tried to explain this to this "person", and he brushed me off by saying her cognition test score had nothing to do with her condition! Of course it does! "He" then proceeded to say that her cognition has significantly declined and my daughter should immediately see a neurologist regarding Alzheimer's. (She's 37 and is very concerned about diseases and illnesses). Her father died from Parkinson's. "He" said this in front of both of us! My daughter left the room crying and exclaimed she would never go back there and see him. I said neither would I! Such blatant lack of consideration for our feelings, along with his lack of knowledge should be reported to the Director of Audiology. As an aside, my daughter got her degree in classics and graduated Phi Beta Kappa. read more

I had the worst experience with Dr. John Molina that I have ever had with any medical professional in my entire life, and I am not exaggerating. His demeanor was that of a used car salesman. I had brought in hearing aids that had belonged to my father but had barely been used to explore the possibility of having them adjusted for my use. At the beginning of my appointment, Dr. Molina made a point of telling me that he only wants to help people and is not there to sell anything (which seemed unusual even at the time). After my exam was complete, we went to another room to discuss the hearing aids. Dr. Molina said that it would cost a minimum of $450 to have them adjusted for my use if it was even possible, and also said that it would be ridiculous to use old technology from 5 years ago. These hearing aids cost over $5,000, so I would have been happy to pay $450 if necessary to have them adjusted for me. When I tried to discuss this option, Dr. Molina stood up, loudly exclaimed that I was wrong if I thought he was trying to do anything but help me, stormed out of the office, and told me to "have a nice life". read more

First time at Hearing Associates in Aurora. Very pleased with Dr. Gabriela Saenz. She was very kind and cared for every of my concerns. I didn't wait long to go in. The testing results were explained in detail and the results too. The office is pleasant. Very organized and clean. They have coffee, water, an aromatherapy mist and a tv. Front desk ladies were cordial and provided great customer service. I would truly recommend this office and the doctor. The only interesting thing was that they asked if they could take a photograph for their patient list, which I denied. read more

Dr. Molina at the Aurora office has added an important element for their clients: cognition evaluations. Hearing decline has been tied as an important first indicator of brain changes. I went to this business when it was under Dr. Schacterlee, so i was a little anxious when i learned he had retired, but i wanted to give Dr Perez-Saenz a chance. I am so very glad that I did! She was very professional and calm as she explained everything --and she did do some things a bit differently. She showed interest in my hearing challenges as well as the desire to save me money as we all know how expensive hearing aids can be. I really like her and will be staying with her! read more

You will be treated with more professionalism and more courtesy at the flea market . I was referred to the Aurora Co. office on Aug.25,2020. The staff and attending audiologist were courteous. After the hearing exam I was provided with "only 1" option for a hearing aid. That was it, only 1. I could purchase an extended warranty or not. Same aid. Come to find out that it was the most entry level basic aid. The equivalent of a 1 ton-2 cylinder truck or a moped. At no point was price an issue. A follow-up appointment was set for 3 weeks out.Sept,24,2020. For 3 of those weeks I was wearing a sub standard aid that was making my hearing worse. The morning of the appointment I was advised that the one and only audiologist was not available and I would have to re-schedule.2 offices and 1 audiologist? How does that work? Also more time with a substandard aid. At "my" insistence they made arrangements for me at the Parker office. At the appointment Molina informed me that I was having a problem hearing because of face masks, that I would have to learn how to read lips, and learn how to speed read conversations.(Guess at what was being communicated). And in general go through a several month learning curve? My ability to understand a phone conversation was out of the question. Why do I have the aid? He made it clear that I was the problem not the sub-standard aid. After 1 1/2 hours his office was not able to pair or route incoming calls to the aid through my I-8 , 2 year old phone. The I-8 is on the manufactures list of approved phones for this brand and model of hearing aids. They were not able to perform the most "Basic" functions of what they where representing. Molina then came into the waiting room and announced that he was not able to help me and 1 other gentleman because of our phones and we both had to leave. After 1 1/2 hours!! The hearing aid and the phone are 2 different entities and can and should work independently of each other. I then went to a I-8 Apple diagnostics in Littleton, Co. to check my phone. They had-0-Zero issues with the phone. I then went to (2) different audiologist's. They both paired the phone and sent incoming phone calls to it in less than 5 minutes. Molina and his staff are not trained in the rudimentary basics of what they are representing. I feel sorry for the staff. The ones I spoke to said they were new. No tenured or seasoned staff. It appears Molina can't manage to his staff. That keeps the staff in a constant panic mode and does not do a lot for moral. I spoke with Molina the next day per phone. He let me know that his clinic was not for me. DAH!!. He spent more than the allotted time with me and I was upsetting the turn and burn rate of the rest of his clients. It did not fit his business model like a widget or sausage factory. Bottom line = His hearing aids did not work. Period. This business is obviously not regulated. His people skills are lacking with his clients and staff. He is clearly over his head. He should not be in business! Any stars?? None. There are audiologist's and companies that are a credit to their industry and profession and are 5 star . Go to them....... I have!! read more

I would like to say if you need hearing aides Make a appt with Dr Perez-Saenz. She isb super fantastic and really cares. When I walked in I was so frustrated because the aides at the time just did not help at all. Dr Perez-Saenz did a test and recommended the Halo 2's. Wow....I can now hear every different instrument in a song. The voices of the singers are crystal clear. I should also add I am about 90-95 % deaf. At this moment I have to say I can hear so good that I can even hear behind me lol. How incredible is that. I have not heard this well ever. I was literally in tears. This was my first visit to an audiologist and they made it very easy and straight forward. I was able to fill out most of the forms online so check in was pretty quick. The staff was friendly and the process painless. It was a very informative session and the dr. knew what she was talking about. My daughter was in an automobile accident 10/13/17 and suffered tinnitus for several weeks after. Hearing Associates was well aware of this situation and did a hearing evaluation 11/15/17. The audiologist which did the evaluation Gabriela Perez-Saenz could not explain the reason for the tinnitus and suggested it was due to the accident. When my attorney request this in writing not only did Gabriela Perez-Saenz not return my call but another person did. He said that was not what Perez-Saenz meant and they would not provide a letter as requested. When I went to explain further he hung up on me. Very rude and unprofessional. read more
